For the next two days my banker worked to find out what they wanted to get my account back. For every question we answered, they later came back with another question. If I had known exactly what they wanted when I first came in, we would not have had this problem. Communication is a problem at Chase Bank.

You must maintain 100 dollars in your account or you are charged a monthly maintenance fee. If you are over in your account for 7 days, they will charge you $34 on top of all your overages or NSF charges you already have. They also have service fees you have to ask the bank about in person. You must have 8 transactions per statement. If not, they will put a hold on your account. Also, once you open it, if you would like to close it, you will be charged a $25 fee within the first 6 months of opening the account. It is an EECU bank and not FDIC. Please research this bank before choosing to go with them. Needless to say, after he opened the account, and I read the ridiculous rules and fees, he has closed it the same day it was opened. Debit cards have been hacked and most recently bill pay online has failed with our mortgage company and electric company. We have stopped using bill pay due to the inconsistencies experienced. The latest, just yesterday, we noticed our mortgage payment scheduled fir payment on the 1st of every month was still not paid on June 3rd. We called and were told a third party handles bill pay and if a payment is due on the 1st of the month and that is a Saturday then payment should be received by the 8th!! With all the automation in automatic recurring payments, this is a joke. Consider paying another way other than their bill pay. Times have changed...
