Last year I went to the BMW dealer (for something completely different) who told me I needed specific work done that would cost me $7k. Fast forward a year later, I let the dealer know what I was now experiencing and without taking a look at it, the consultant advised I should really get the work done that they advised me to get last year (this would not include the suspension or struts). So I begin to look at other options for payment including Klarna- which the dealer did not have. This brings me to Bimmerhub. I was getting down to the wire of needing to get the work done so I called Bimmerhub (after reading the reviews of course) to ask if I could bring my car in on short notice. Not only did they take my car in, I was able to get the actual issues that I was experiencing- fixed for a much lower cost. On top of that, I thought they would be keeping my car for no less then a week- but they were able to it back to me within a few days. I spoke with Mike at the front desk who was super pleasant to work with. More importantly, my car now runs smoothly. Any other place would just replace it and try to sell me 3 more! My dad once got a crazy estimate on his car and we brought it to American auto. He didn't need half the work and the price was less than 1/3 of the quote he had gotten. I very highly recommend them. They play the long game in business and are not out for the quick buck. Your choice really is to either pay for the diagnostic or pay them for the parts and labor. You don't know what the parts and labor are going to cost and even if you can't afford it, they will still charge you for the diagnostic. I don't think I will ever use them again and don't recommend them.
