I went to AutoZone in Lagrange, purchase oil, air & oil filter. I had a debit card he told me to…read morerun it again so I did then he ask me if I had another method of payment, I told him I would pay with cash but didn't understand why my card didn't work. I looked at my phone and they had charged my card he told me they would put it back on my card. I noticed they had charged me twice. They put it back on my card once. I've been trying to get my money back for over a week. Getting pissed. Not sure what to do now.

Not impressed at all. Went in with my not-so-car savvy boyfriend for windshield wipers and a…read morereplacement bulb for my break light. John C was rather curt when I inquired about what I needed. He did take the time to look up what bulb and wipers were appropriate for my vehicle. He printed a slip with the information and pointed to a general part of the store. My boyfriend and I were able to match the exact parts to what he gave us relatively quickly. When I got home and went to install the newly purchased bulb I quickly learned it was the WRONG BULB! You may wonder if I gave him the wrong details about my car, but I know what specs I need to ask for parts. I will be returning the bulb and patronizing another establishment in the future. I commend you, John C., for taking the time to do the basics of your job. However; I would have appreciated a friendlier feel in such a small town and the appropriate part numbers....

I asked them to call me before he touched it so I can understand what the problem was with the bike and make a determination as to go ahead and fix it or not. I waited a few days for a call and no one ever called, so I called and went by the shop and they had taken parts of the bike a loose that they thought was the problem without my consent. After they had dismantled parts of the bike without my knowledge and did not call to inform me, I asked the co-owner why didn't they notify me before working on the bike, she rudely replied, we can not wait around because we have other things to do for other customers. I responded, they was not the agreement, you was supposed to call me first. The lady replied, "The owner/mechanic is the boss and he told one of the workers there to open it up. After dismantling it, they claim it was broken valves that caused the problem and the Mechanic would have to look further to see if there's anything else wrong and what caused the problem. So, I talked with the Mechanic/Owner and he said that he would check it out and give me a call back that day. I waited more than a week and no one ever called me back, so I begin to call several times but could not get an answer. Then I went back to the shop to inquire about it, and the owner picked up the valve-body part off the counter and said that he haven't had time to check it out yet, but there was at least 3 people sitting around doing nothing when I walked in the door. I asked why didn't he call me as promised, he said he didn't have time. So I said, just put it back together and I will take it with me. He said, there would be an extra charge if they put it back together, the first charge is ($85.00) for the diagnostic and another charge for putting it back together if I did not want them to work on it. I said, that wasn't the agreement, you were supposed to check it out and let me know first before you dismantled it, and there wouldn't be any charge if they couldn't fix it. And the co-owner started talking about their corrupted company policy instead of adhering to our agreement. *These people are Con-Artists who sit around doing nothing while pretending to be helping... After all the frustration with them I decided to pay the diagnostic fee and take the bike with me to keep down the confusion. But you can bet your bottom dollar that I will never do business with these con-artists again, and will tell all my friends not to either. Thanks for NOTHING L & L Motors... we had our eyes on purchasing a 4-Wheeler that we liked for my granddaughter, but it's your lost. Sonny & Jae'

I go to pick it up and told it will be $200!!!!! They changed out the battery, spark plugs, filters, brake work and oil change. I NEVER authorized that work to be done on a $600/ 3 yr old 4 wheeler. The lady was rude and hateful. This is NOT how you should run a business. I was never contacted re: this prior to work done. There was nothing wrong with the battery. I will never do business here, nor recommend anyone else!!!
