The nearest tire was 16 miles away and it was H&J Tire in Lexington,VA. I was very pleased with the young gentlemen that assisted me. He was exceptional in customer service and tire expertise. He explained succinctly why he was doing what he was doing and I felt assured he knew what he was sharing. I made it to my next destination without any further issues. The wheel patch held up. Brandon Hatcher told us he would try to find the other one that he thought it was around there somewhere. I contacted him a couple times and he said he couldn't find it. Then nothing more from him. No other suggestions at all. So we are stuck with paying over $500 for a new one. Dealerships are supposed to provide two keys! If I had known this they could have paid for it or kept the vehicle. I'm dissatisfied!!

There wasn't much around where I was at the moment, but this was there. It sits at such a weird intersection. Especially since it was so busy, showing a well needed business. I somehow got here with no trouble and went inside. As soon as I was inside I was asked if I needed any help. Great to be greeted as soon as you walked in, but I needed no help. This wasn't my first go around at getting wipers. Went over to the section and found the two different sizes I need and made my way to the register. Paid and went outside. I appreciate that you are able to change and dispose of the old wipers here. Took a few minutes to do so and dispose of the old ones. Got back to the intersection and on the road I went.

He didn't rush the job and made sure everything was done right. When you're stranded on a road trip, finding someone willing to help like that means everything. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to stay with the problem until it was fixed really saved us. BEWARE!!!!!! I…read morecalled Ballard and Parker Auto Service Center and tried to set up an appointment for my son (VMI Cadet) to get an inspection done ($16.00). "Doug" sounded very friendly and knowledgeable when my son took and dropped off the vehicle he asked that a check engine light be checked... he ended paying over $280. For basically a tuneup (change of Spark plugs and wires) with the inspection. Buyer beware.... I tried to reason with him... he said his prices were just.... NOT SO! EVERY OTHER SHOP WAS BETWEEN $50 AND 150. CHEAPER. I don't wish him ill, but he should not take advantage of students just cause his shop is the nearest to the colleges I informed him i would have to put this review due to his overcharging my son... he said to go ahead since it wouldnt affect his buisness... I made an appointment on Thursday 10/4/18 for Tuesday 10/9/18 to have the lower ball joints replaced on my truck. I was told the job would take 4 hours. I dropped my truck off at 7:30 am and drooped my keys off in the door slot, since no one was there and walked to work. I called at 9am, no answer. 9:30am no answer and again at 10:30. I wanted to make sure they had gotten my keys and information since no one took it over the phone. The guy that answered didn't seem to care and only said that he hadn't gotten to it yet. Since I didn't get off work till 3, it was ok at that point. When I got off work and walked back to the shop to pick up my truck, the job wasn't even started. The guy just shurgged at me and said he hadn't gotten around to it, but I could reschedule for the following week. My truck had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition and unattended all day 0 on Customer service 0 on integrity Save yourself the agravation and wasted time and call a different machanic.

We went in for an State inspection and it failed for a few things. We took it to a shop we usually…read morework with to get the issues fixed and they said several of the things they mentioned didn't make sense. The shop said a line that they said was leaking just had some oil on it, the boot they said was torn was fine other than being wet and a few other issues like that. We got everything that was actually broken fixed and took it back. When we asked about one of the issues their response was "I can call the state police to come down and explain it to you." They may have made some small mistakes on the inspection, those things happen but their customer service was appalling and is why I will not be returning.
