I just sent my teenage driver in to have her battery checked as we are working and usually battery issues should be addressed quickly. The person she spoke with would not check her battery and said it could not be that. a simple google search indicates that the message is exactly related to a potential battery issue as we have replaced a battery before when the message popped up. would be nice if you had just done what she had asked. read more

Just read Advance is shutting down 700 stores; it's no wonder, considering my experience in this one. The place is dirty, the employees were laughing and cursing in the back with no one up front, and I saw what I think was a regular customer (wearing a shop shirt) helping himself behind the counter. I went in for a part that the website showed they had in stock and of course it wasn't there. After waiting around and finally getting the 2nd or 3rd employee to help (they kept passing it off), he admitted the computer was often wrong. He recommended going to a different store several miles away but didn't offer to call and confirm it was there. I was just relieved to get out and then ordered from Amazon; had to wait two days but it was also $10 cheaper. read more

I can't even begin to describe how amazing every single employee was when I came in. Shoutout to Toni and Mike. I came in with a dead battery and my alarm wouldn't stop going off. They helped me until the very end. I was in tears and Toni comforted me and changed my battery, fixed my fuse and didn't stop even when my car was locked in park. She was simply amazing and I love this place so much for their customer service. I got Christmas tickets to a football game and I was able to make it because of HER! She literally changed my life as I have a memory to forever remember and when I was freaking out she was there for me. Love this place seriously!!!! read more

The employees there are a joke. I bought a battery and found it was cheaper on advanced auto parts.com while I was in the parking lot. I asked if I can return the battery and rebuy the same exact one. They said no. A month later I walked in to price match some paint. advanced auto parts.com has it on sale. Low and behold I'm told they can't price match in store because the computer won't let them. (They didn't even try) Low and behold their site has their terms and conditions of price matching Check the photo. That's straight off of their website saying their stores DO price match. Look guys I get that your life sucks and you get paid $10 an hour. But you don't have to take it out on the rest of us. You don't make commission and you don't make money off of charging people more. I asked my wife to bring the car into this place (this morning), because they advertise that they perform free 'check engine' diagnosis on their website. Incidentally, that's pretty standard that most of their competitors offer similar-- because its good business and you may even get an auto part sale as a result of whatever the codes indicate. Well... there were a few guys working in the store but no customers at the time. The workers were not wearing masks, yet they refused (very rudely) to perform their free ADVERTISED SERVICE, because my wife was wearing a face covering (their words). So, I guess if that logic prevails, then you must also refuse service to anyone that walks INSIDE the store (masked or unmasked), while all your workers inside the store are without a face covering? This policy, and our experience, was ludicrous. But its ok. You proved your store appears to be 2 stars for a reason. Suggestion for you: Don't advertise anything that you're not intending on honoring. And again, reminder for you, you're not the only show in town. I gladly bought my auto part elsewhere.
