May rolls around, and we keep following up to see if they're staffed, and time after time they say no. I understand that deposits need to be paid to reserve a spot, but if several months go by and there's no spot to reserve bc they're still understaffed, there should be exceptions to refunding your deposit. They weren't even willing to consider it.

My out-of-state tuition in TX was cheaper than this school. The admissions and financial aid office is completely inept. They actually straight up told me inaccurate information regarding ward of state tuition. They also do not have a very strong club and organization system, and they don't have many events and activities available for students. This place doesn't feel at all like a college. I don't know a single student that was satisfied with their college experience here.

Being close to the marshes, beaches and water provide much opportunity for field biology experiences. She will stay and is majoring in Coastal Ecology. There was one person taking a break in the lobby when I arrived and everyone else was busy taking tests. I sort of expected to have to wait with 10-15 people and go in at the same time but that was by far not the case which was nice. I was able to start my test about an hour early. When you go here, there's basically one room with about 30 people taking different tests around you. You're sitting in a little cubicle directly next to other people but separately by a little short fabric wall behind and to the sides of your computer. You can bring unwrapped cough drops in a plastic bag to help you if you start coughing and also a clear plastic bottle of water with no wrapper. They give you everything else for your test like a calculator, pen, and scratch paper. The chairs that you sit on are like rolling office chairs with decent fabric cushion which was comfortable. They have headphones there- the ones you might wear to a racetrack to block out noise. I tried those for the first ten minutes and couldn't get comfortable in them but you can also bring foam ear plugs which could help. It wasn't too loud to focus other than people coughing occasionally. They have lockers with numbered keychain locks for you to use during your test for free and I was able to fit my purse with snacks in it. When you take a break you cannot look at study material or a phone but can grab a snack and use the bathroom. They have two bathrooms right around the corner when you step out of the computer room. They were relatively clean. I was really nervous and anxious but getting there early and being checked in by very good employees made me feel less stressed.
