She knows most of the people that work there and has great relationships with them. *I have been there a few times and have always been satisfied. *Recently I had a Facial and a Back Facial (F & BF) with Terri Borough. I have had a few F & BF before, but this one was spectacular. Terri Borough did a wonderful job. She is warm, friendly and knows what she is doing. She explained to me beforehand what she would be doing and in what order. I find it helpful to know what is going on. Her touch and technique were superb. When it comes to communication between teachers and students, it hasn't been very consistent. One instructor will say one thing, while another says something different, which makes it confusing. The grading is also inconsistent, as each instructor seems to grade differently. At the beginning of the semester, we weren't given a clear rubric for how we would be graded. Now that we are close to graduating, points are being taken off for very small details that were never emphasized before. For example, labeling the cups for the products we use--this is now required in abbreviation form, but we were never taught how to do that earlier in the program. Usually, the dispensary person would take care of that. I hope the program can become more organized, with clear expectations for both day and night classes. Right now, it feels like the night class does not receive as much attention or support. Overall, I hope things improve. However, if I had the chance to choose again, I would consider a different school because I don't feel like I learned everything I needed to know.

The supplies they sell are very low quality--comparable to cheap online products. For the prices they charge, I expected much better. On top of that, the school is not clean. The classrooms and restrooms are consistently dirty, and it doesn't seem like they maintain the place properly. If you're serious about learning and building a career, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Cosmo ended up being the best option by far--not only was it the most affordable, but it also offered the flexibility I needed to continue working while going to school. The commute from LA to Garden Grove is about an hour each way, and while that definitely wasn't always fun, it was 100% worth it. Honestly, without this program, I'm not sure I ever would have taken the leap to start this journey.
