The staff here are such super friendly and helpful. I know from experience that some Salon Centric's are very off putting due to the customer service. I will recommend this place over the others. My first time at this location and it was great! I usually go to the Arcadia one, but that location didn't have what I needed in stock. Since I was in OC I decided to check this location and they had both products in stock. I placed my order online for pick up and received the notification that it was ready the next morning. There's plenty of parking, I was greeted as soon as I walked in by both associates. They were both very nice. I told one of them I had a pick up order, she checked my confirmation #, and handed me my products. It was such an easy process. Came into the store today Saturday, March 7. Usually employees are very nice, helpful. Today the girl was too busy texting to help or acknowledge i was in the store after I asked for help. They get my online order wrong every time! When I order from the app, and go in 4.5 hours later, they don't have it ready. They always forget something that is on my order. This is a smaller store format but if you are a licensed professional they will likely have all of your haircare needs. As a manufacturer I always like going into SalonCentric locations because they pride themselves on knowing the products and benefits. I've always chosen Salon Centric for my hair product needs. I always order online for the convenience. However, lately I've been more than disappointed with them. They have shorted my order more than once. I've tried contacting them through email about 5 times and not one email has been answered. I've called customer service to report the shortage and explained I don't need the color without the developer. Their response is to send the color back, or place another order for the color and pay another $11.95 for shipping. This is not the way to do business and treat your customers. I'd also like to add that my credit card is always charged $1-2 more than my order total at time of purchase. I would assume this is happening to more customers than myself. If you place an online order compare your order total to the total amount of money coming from your credit card. It might seem like a small amount, and I've let it go. But, if it's happening to every online order, that $1-$2 is turning into thousands or more. personally I'm finished ordering online with salon centric. I can no longer trust them. read more

Never going here again! Why do businesses make it hard to give them money? While doing my usual shopping here I was informed I would not be able to checkout without downloading an "app" on my phone. They informed everyone in line that cards are no longer used and they cannot find my account number( ive been a client there for 20 years when it was Maley's) No help from the girls there looking up my name, phone, or email. So this means I always have to bring my phone inside, and need to only use the app to pay! This location is one of my favorites! These girls are amazing here and I was in today during the crazy holiday sale, and they kept their cool EVEN WITH ALL THE CRAZINESS! My cashier was Kaitlin, and she had 3 customers that came in together who literally bought a whole beauty supply. As we were all annoyed because it was taking so long, she was able to keep her cool and be super sweet. I don't know the other girls name but she used to work at my other favorite store (the one on South Plaza Drive) and she is amazing as well! I LOVE this store!!! I work in Orange but live in HB and choose to frequent this locale. Each time I walk through the door there's always a sweet greeting!! Ya have to be a complete grump not to love that. Management is so helpful, Brittany always reminds me of my product specials, how she remembers I don't know but I really appreciate the extra caring touch. All the girls give me a heads up on what's new also. The store is small and very full of product but they keep it organized, neat and clean. Cashier 662561 (Dark hair, tattoos, glasses) could not have made our experience any worse. I came in with my girlfriend, hair stylist and saloncentric customer of 10 years, and was treated as if we were thieves. As she browsed the store I was on my cell phone and "lost" her (tiny store but im a guy and this is saloncentric). I was then asked in a NON polite manner if I needed help. When I said I was looking for my girlfriend, dark hair went and literally guarded the front door. (had to open door for another customer trying to get in) We then looked for another product and was rudely asked if we were all set. After inquiring where the other product would be, she answered rudely, again, and then we went to pay. After ringing us up she asked "oh you're using card, i'll have to activate the card reader" all whilst sighing. We feel as if we were treated incredibly poorly and will not be coming back to this location. read more

My first visit the service was horrible by the manager. I even asked to use the ladies room and when I walked to the back I almost fell over so much stock and junk on the floor. Big difference from Long Beach location.
