Bought a battery for my scooter three months ago, the delivery of the battery never arrived because they made an error sending it to the incorrect address. They told me to go and pick it up at the Fedex location, and I paid for it to be delivered to my house, so that was unacceptable. I as supposed to receive it in 1 week, and afte 3 weeks they told me it was impossible to deliver it in 2 days, that it would take another week. So they told me to buy it elsewhere and send them the invoice that they would pay for it. I owned a 2008 Range Rover HSE... and I needed a new battery because my died on me one night out with the kids and I called the dealer, and it was almost outrageous what they told me it would cost for a new battery and installation. So I called and called around for quotes, and I somehow ended up with Richard Klein, he was referred to me by another wholesale warehouse battery company! Which I thought now that's really interesting, one wholesaler gave me someone elses company and recommended Advanced Battery to me without any hesitation!! I called and Richard answered the phone, I told him I was just leaving school and would be right there if he had the battery I'd like to get it put in right away. So I get there, Richard was very nice, he did have the battery for my car, he had a mechanic out and one working on another car, so he worked on my car himself! He didn't hesitate, and he gave me a really good price, I think more than $20 less than the company that referred him to me! Thanks to Yelp I had the best experience today. I generally hate servicing my car with anything, it just seems like everywhere I go they try to scam you or sell you something unnecessary. I saved around $40 changing the battery in my car and all it took was about 10 min. And in my neighborhood! If not for Yelp, I would have never known about this place. Here is what's going on with this place. When Steve was running it, it was spot on and a local business you wanted to support because you could depend on it for solid customer service, fair prices and real knowledge about batteries. But Steve is enjoying retirement somewhere and what is left at Advanced Battery Systems is a confederacy of dunces. We had to make 3 separate trips to get a simple battery for a simple 2004 VW. On our last trip, Danny still could not figure it out or properly consult a match on his chart for the proper battery! We even took the core (old) battery with us for Danny to compare. Icing on the cake, he just ran off, answered another call on the phone and forgot about us. Not just rude, but unacceptable. They seem to put all their effort now against wholesale sales -- that tells you what they think about their retail customers - 0. They just don't care. So no more! We are done with what remains of this place. I hate to say this. But you can find a better deal with more knowledge, believe it or not, at any Autozone or O'Reilly. read more

I purchased a 78, 800cca 110RC D78-800 battery for $113.38 from the local store Battery Systems Inc branch 167 in Kalispell Mt on 2/26/2016. I recently took my vehicle in for a maintenance check, and was advised by my mechanic that my one year old battery, under a load test, did not hold even 300cca capability. I immediately drove to the battery store and advised them of my problem. The attendant hooked up this devise to my battery, and the devise stated "good battery". I tried to explain that a load test will show a different finding, and that I was requesting a replacement battery. The attendant stated that he does this for a living and that I was not going to get a replacement battery. I feel that I was cheated on this deal. This shows that a purchaser can not rely on any warranty issued by Battery Systems Inc. I feel that this "devise" they used is designed to show any battery as good, so that they will not have to honor a warranty. I am very disappointed with Battery Systems Inc and I will never shop there again. My family and I have been buying batteries there for at least the last 10 years. Not any more. read more

With my past good experience with them I stop by to check the prices for battery it was late Saturday afternoon almost 155 pm 5 minutes to close i told Richard I need to bring my car from home and it will take 10 to 15 minutes he gladly agreed to wait for me when I return he and his staff Tony was waiting for me but it was my bad luck or theirs my car did not start due to some technical reason, they tried their best to fix by calling Toyota Technical support and did all they could do with their experience, it was 4 pm and the car did not start finally I decided to leave my car there as I do not want to ruin my and their weekend. Richard was so nice that he offer me to use his car for weekend but I was ok without using his car, finally Monday afternoon I got a call from them that the car was ready when I went there to pick up they did not charge me for the new battery which was quite amazing.
