Big shout out to Javier for his help replacing the battery in my daughter's CMax key fob. She was locked out of her no-key ignition car and couldn't get the key to do anything. Javier showed her how to open up the fob to access the key for the door, then replace the battery to start the ignition. He wasn't mansplaining at all, he was very helpful which we both really appreciated. My daughter does her own maintenance on her 1962 classic car so she has a good understanding of basic old fashioned mechanics....the new fangled keyless stuff she is now learning....lol. Worst. Service. Ever. My boyfriend and I were one of three customers in the entire store. Two employees behind the counter. We stood there for 10 to 15 minutes and were 100% ignored - no eye contact, no greeting... They continued to take incoming phone calls from customers at home instead of placing them on hold to ring us up. When we finally thought it was our turn, a customer from outside busted through the door and stepped in front of us, and the employee named Ramon started to watch a YouTube video with her on how to fix something on her car. Chalino greeted me right way as I walked in tired from work trying to save my car battery from dying on me again today. He told me to pop my hood and that he'll be out there to help me right way. Sure enough he came out right away and started to check the life of my battery. Knowing car batteries are expensive, he did his best to revive it but it just wouldn't start. He brought a portable jump but that didn't work either. I ended up buying a new battery but he helped me out from start to finish. Very friendly and knowledgeable dude. Much respect to him and I wouldn't have noticed he just started working there at all and instead would've thought he was the supervisor. I show multiple pictures too, but they did told me what I pick would work which was obviously wrong. Even my neighbor told me they should know this. Got a battery light just as I left Cody to head into Yellowstone, did a U-turn and came to O'Reilly because I had just bought a new battery from their Hawthorne CA location a few weeks prior. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They came out and gave a courtesy diagnostic in my battery and determined it was the alternator at fault. They sold me a new alternator and set me up with a great local mechanic to handle the install who performed the service after regular business hours. Went in for a return of a product in new condition and sealed. The manager Adrian stated I couldn't return it. I asked for a written policy that states that it is unreturnable, but he couldn't provide it. Then the only response he could come up with is to be stubborn for no reason. This dude is like talking to a brick wall. This is his statement "there is no policy that you can't return it, I just won't accept it". What kind of customer service is that? Good luck trying to get me to shop at O'reilly again or recommend them to anyone. Awful service and I recommend you try elsewhere. read more

I went to auto zone first to look for a radiator. I was looking for a radiator for my Mitsubishi Eclipse & I got the item with no cord which it suppose to connect to my AC. I came here and the employee showed me the picture of the correct item and when I got home it came with no cord. I was disappointed but I acknowledged that it wasn't the employees fault because she showed me the item before ordering online. I had to order another one and it was about $52 cheaper from the radiator that I got and it was made out of steel which was a + because the radiator I got before was plastic.
