After purchasing a new HP Printer from the Colimbus Office Max last Fall, I needed to purchase the…read morecolor and black ink. On February 17, 2020, I went to the store and asked a store employee for assistance in identifying the right type of ink cartridge for my HP printer 9020 series. The employee handed me two boxes of ink that totaled a bit over $100.00. Several weeks later when the printer required new ink cartridges. I then opened the ink box and tried to replace the cartridges with the new ones purchased in February. After trying to replaced the cartridges and unable to, I realized that I was given number 952 cartridges instead of the 962 required by the printer. This Monday, I stopped by the Office Max store and explained had had occurred and requested for an exchange for the correct cartridges. I then was told by the store Shift Manager that since I had opened the box and had no receipt, even though I am in their Rewards Program and they had a record of purchaseI could not get the product exchanged and that when a product was opened it was the policy of Office Max not to accept a returned product. Incidentally, that policy has never been mentioned to me prior to this incident nor is it published in the Store. even though I was on their Reward program and Office. frustrated, I gave the Shift manager my name and phone number and requested for the Store General Manager to call me after he got back on Thursday, today. The Store is now closed on Thursday and I never got a call from the General Manager, it could be that the Shift Manager never gave the message to call me. Incidentally, I stopped by Best Buy tonight and asked a hipotéticamente question relating this story and Best Buy would have the purchase good. The moral to this Story is that Office Max is not Customer oriented an I will not purchase any items from them ever.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I don't know if it's just this location or all OfficeMax, but everything is…read moremarked up in price & The employees could care less. I have been in here several times in the last few years and I am always disappointed. But let me talk about my trip today. I was THE ONLY PERSON IN THE ENTIRE STORE! When I walked in I seen two employees that didn't say anything to me. Did not greet me in anyway, did not smile at me, didn't do anything but look at me and look away quickly. Avoiding even eye contact with your customers? I walked a few aisles and couldn't find what I was looking for and walked up to the cashier. Asked him where laptop stands were, he immediately didn't know. And asked the manager over his ear piece/walkie. The manager didn't know as well. Then the cashier looked at me and kind of shrugged his shoulders like saying he didn't know what to tell me. So the manager never even came to talk to me? Or even tried to come and assist. On the way out the door I seen the 'so called manager', he was leaning on a wall toward the picture printing area doing Nothing but breathing!!No wonder no one goes to this location! No wonder there is never a soul in here! Everything is way overpriced and the help sucks! Sadly, I ended up going to Walmart in the office supplies section and founds many laptop stands ,exactly what I needed. I also happen to look at mouse pads while I was at OfficeMax, and they were about $8 cheaper at Walmart!!!! And they were just plain black! Nothing special with pictures on it. With all the options of ordering everything online, and the different sites online that cater to office supplies and electronics, you would think Officemax would try to go above and beyond and be more customer friendly and accessible. This building will be out of business within a few years, it's only a matter of time. And good riddance!
