I came home to a mess . Garbage falling out of the garbage can. Food scraps and containers on the counter. Allowed someone to bump into my 75 year old partial blind father. Told me he almost got in a car accident. There were magazine and pillows on the living room floor that were a tripping hazard. The last caregiver called me at work to ask if I had rubber gloves. I was very very cleAR not to call unless it was an emergency. She called me 20 min later to ask another question when we had covered it less than 2 hours eariler and I had written the info down. She took my dad to fast food instead of cooking. She didn't complete the few things I asked her to do. I have called the management. Expressed my worry and concern over the safety of my father. And his wellbeing. Apparently they hire whatever fool applies at the company. The caregivers are not people I want around my dad who can't report what happens during the day. After the last 4 we are done. We are seeking care with another company. I would not recommend this company. I would give them 1 out of 5 stars. Lack of follow up, lack of quality. Lack of training. I wish to warn future clients and employees:…read more -Jill will give out personal information about caregivers to other caregivers and clients about why they called out (how would I know my mom's other caregiver was having issues with her son? Said caregiver didn't tell me and I have proof). Said caregiver has had this happen way more than one time. -Jill will lie about her clients; she claimed my mother would say she didn't want me or my daughter over during her shifts with other caregivers. Then why would Jill or Tanya ask every caregiver, post shift, if we were over? Right after their shift ended, maybe 5 minutes later. Clearly, my mom nor the caregivers lied if the stories were all the same and they did not know one another. -Jill and Tanya intimidate their clients and caregivers. They will issue threats and use their power to do such. Clients have complained to their caregivers about both intimidating them. Caregivers have complained to me multiple times about both Jill and Tanya. They state that the pay is the only reason they remain with the company as employees. The 4 or so others who cared for her after I broke my ankle all said the same thing (and yes, we did go over. That's how I know all of all). - Jill will reach out to you via social media as they seem to find themselves more important than anyone or anything else. -They call during shifts, according to caregivers, and get upset when unanswered. Even though a caregiver could be in the middle of doing something for the client (of whom they admitted are less important than the employees. At least, that was said during a meeting. Keep that in mind, future clients.) -They take caregivers away from clients if the client and caregiver become close. So if you like a caregiver/client and express such, they/you probably won't return once found out. -Sorry, Jeff, Jeremy, and Jessica. You three are great. The other two need to go if you wish to have employees and clients. -They do not understand Oregon law, as I had to call BOLI about my last paycheck. They claim it has to be issued next pay period, not the next business day. Per Oregon law, of which I even knew already. Just called to verify. Why are people in charge who don't know Oregon law? - At least the pay is good, but not enough to deal with Jill and Tanya.

During this time a customer often had to call several times to get through, especially to a person. This has changed. People can now find respirators. I have found that when I had a problem, NW Medical was quick to COME TO MY RESIDENCE and replace what wasn't functioning. Getting parts, like hoses and other parts has become MUCH easier. Of special mention is JOYCE. When a part wouldn't arrive in time, she brought it to me when she was done working. People here go out of their way to help those of us with issues. Many customer complaints had to do with circumstances surrounding NW Medical, not the company or employees themselves.

I am almost 67 years old, so I have been to a few different PTs, but I LOVE THIS PHYSICAL THERAPY PROVIDER for many, many reasons! Both Jay and Rebecca are amazing, kind, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and explain the course of treatment in a way that patients can understand! I learned so much about my body that I didn't know. Rebecca helped me regain the use of my left shoulder with excellent strengthening exercises, Jay (who is an expert at vertigo) helped me with exercises to strengthen my vestibular system to prevent the vertigo, and Jay and Rebecca truly alleviated the pain below my left titanium knee that I have had for 6 - 8 years. It was scar tissue on my medial collateral ligament fascia (inner side of my left knee below the knee cap). Jay used a special type of very deep pressure point massage to release huge knots in the ligament. Thirty minutes after my first treatment, he had me try the bike. To my shock, I was able to pedal the bike FORWARDS, which I had not been able to do in such a long time! I continued that PT with him and Rebecca and within 6 weeks, most of the pain in my knee disappeared. I have been able to return to Baxter Fitness for exercise, and now I can pedal the bike going both forwards and backwards! Therapeutic Associates restored my range of motion and now I can walk, exercise, and do housework again. They have given me back my life.
