Spoke with the owner and he impressed me with his description of their process -- they use a special light to detect pet urine, if they find a lot they go through a super thorough procedure to address it. His guys, Scott & Casey were very pleasant, professional and did an excellent job. So much so we asked them to try to clean an old makeup stain, 2x3, in the carpet that we had made worse trying to clean for months. We bought a house and decided to have the carpets cleaned before our furniture arrived. I spoke to the owner Mike. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and was able to answer all of my questions. Josh and Mackenzie arrived on time on the day we scheduled. They were friendly, polite, and did a great job. The previous owners had dogs, so I wasn't sure if we needed to have any urine stains treated. Josh took a blacklight and went thru the entire house looking for spots. Thankfully we only had a few small spots that may or may not have been urine. Josh treated those to make sure (if they were urine) that the cleaning would not cause them to smell again. We also had them clean some area rugs. They put plastic on the floor to protect the hardwood floors underneath. Everything dried pretty fast. It helped having the air conditioning running as well as ceiling fans. The stairs took the longest to dry. The carpets were cleaned on Saturday, and our furniture arrived on Monday. This was good timing. We had a few pieces of furniture in the house. They moved everything except for the bed. We moved the mattress and box spring into the bathroom so they could clean the area around the frame and under the bed. They put plastic under the legs of all of the furniture so the damp carpet wouldn't touch the furniture. We were very happy with the people, the service provided, and the price. We just moved into a new house and wanted our carpets steam cleaned professionally. Advanced degree already has awesome reviews so I called to inquire and left a voicemail. My call was returned within 30 minutes and the owner Mike listened to my concerns about our carpet and what we wanted to achieve. He thoroughly described their process, and provided me an accurate quote of the cost per room plus any scenarios they may come across once here (black light pet stains). I scheduled our appointment and they called with a reminder, and called day of to let me know they were running late. They arrived at the new time (about one hour after my initial appointment time) and introduced themselves and did a walkthrough with me just like was promised. Josh and Nate were friendly, professional, and thorough in their assessment and work. They worked around my fiancé and I since we're working from home. They were late because the prior appointment needed their three step process in some places, just like we did and it makes sense!
