I hired this company Pitbull Enterprize to clean a small sofa with white jacquard upholstery that had gotten badly soiled during a long distance move. I made my selection based on reviews from two sites (names available upon request). Four days after I contacted this company, they came out to preview the job and three days after that one individual from the company came out and cleaned the sofa, or so I thought. He brought no equipment with him, nor cleaning supplies, only a multi-gallon can of what I thought was a cleaning solution, but found out later was only a large multi gallon can of water. This individual was actually the husband of the woman who owns the company. He spent an hour renting down the sofa, then charged me $200 which I paid, & left. Two days later, after the sofa had dried, the sofa was still dirty and covered with spots front and back. The sofa had not been cleaned at all, but only rinsed off with clear water. In point of fact, I did two tests on the sofa while it was wet, to see, if, in fact, the sofa had been only rinsed with water; it had. I contacted the owner of the company, who came out with her husband the following Saturday. She said that she had a spot lifter that would definitely clean the sofa. They would come out the next Tuesday to clean the sofa again. That was the last I heard from them except for multiple promises to come out the next Saturday, whatever that was, at 2 PM in the afternoon to finish cleaning the sofa. From that day until this they have never come out. I requested a refund of my $200; they refused to repay my money. Altogether they made and confirmed three separate appointments for the following Saturday, whatever that was, at 2 PM. However, they never showed up, and never called to cancel, nor did they call to reschedule. Only after I contacted them again and again and again did they make new appointments to come out and re-clean the sofa, but again and again and again they just never showed up. Finally, they made a fourth offer of an appointment on the coming Saturday, at 2 o'clock again. This time I told them no I was giving them no more chances and once again I asked for a refund of my $200, which of course, they simply ignored. This whole event is characterized by false claims, misrepresentation of what they would do, and refusal to return my money for lack of providing servicesl quite clear to the company that, if they would return my money, $200, I would not write a review of their activities. Yet they still refused to return my money. As far as the sofa is concerned, I had to get someone else to do the job. This whole project started in mid June 2025, and it is now August 24; I can document all the events I described in this review because I keep a calendar book and detailed notes on the calendar pages which I make available to anybody with a valid claim to review them.
