I called and spoke to Jessica regarding an area rug that had been in storage. While in storage it was exposed to some kind of bug and it has a few areas that need repairing. Even though they advertise hassle free pick up, I was told I would have to lug the 7x9 rug in myself, (I am a female in my 70's), for them to tell me what it would cost. I then asked if I could text photos of the front and back of the rug so they could at least tell me if it could be repaired, which she agreed to. Even though they advertise that they repair hand knotted rugs, she told me that it was a hand knotted rug amd that they were not set up for that type of repair. So then I asked if she could recommend someone who could, and I got crickets. Seems like they don't stand by what they advertise. Very surprising since they have such a large presence in this area. I am a Realtor and an Interior Designer and in the process of compiling a resource book to publish for new residents to Sussex Co. I will not be including them as a resource. read more

Again, what I have to say about Brasure's Carpet Care is WOW! Over many years I have used then at a couple of locations in Bethany Beach. I recently had them out to see if we could salvage some carpets in our beach house that had been neglected for years. We are amazed at the outcome. They have basically restored our old rugs to new. There were a couple of spots that did not completely go away but they knew that and told us what to expect before they did the job. I had a stain on my carpet from Mio that would not come out. It was a bright pink stain. I hired Stanley Steemer and they said it was in the fiber. I figured I had an extra piece of carpet and it was going to need to be cut out and re-seamed into the area. Seeing that Brasure's did this type of work I contacted them. They asked if they could send a technician out to see if they could get it out by cleaning it first. I was very hesitant because nothing had worked up to this point. They sent out a technician, Dave Campbell, and I am in shock! This guy knew what he was doing. He used a steam technique with a solution and an iron to get the stain out. It was amazing. Dave worked hard to make sure that the stain was completely gone. This was brand new off white carpet. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable about stain removal. His years of experience paid off for me. I thought I was going to need to replace this carpet. He was friendly, and went the extra mile by even helping to move the sofa to ensure any stain under it was gone as well. I cannot recommend this company enough. Dave Campbell was just outstanding and saved me a ton of money and my carpet! read more

After a couple days of cleaning up after a very sick dog, I realized we desperately needed to have our carpets professionally cleaned to get rid of the stains. I have driven by Brasure's several times and decided to give them a call. They were at my house within a few hours and did an amazing job on pretty difficult stains. The technician was professional, courteous and cautious with protecting our floors and furnishings while using the cleaning machine. The price was also pretty reasonable.. I was very disappointed in the results of the cleaning of my area rug. I was told that if I paid extra, the odor would be guaranteed to be gone completely. I paid extra and believed them. Upon pick up, the stains were still there and the odor was strongly there. I called and was told to bring it back to be recleaned and that I had to sign a waiver that the company is not responsible for damage or destruction due to recleaning. When I returned the rug, the person at the front desk was not happy that I was returning it and spoke to me very disrespectfully and was extremely nasty. I asked to see the owner and was told he was not there. I then asked to speak to the owner on the phone. Owner was not apologetic but said he would take care of the rug. When I hung up, the female at the front desk started yelling at me and berating me. She even said there's the door so just leave. I never raised my voice to her at any time. I called the owner again and left a message for him to call me. When he called back he said he could not do anything about the rug and would write a check and drop off the rug. When he arrived, he would not speak or allow me to tell him about what had transpired. I had a horrible experience and have never been treated so poorly by any company! Beware! read more
