It was very easy to use their website to book an appointment, fill out forms electronically and submit insurance information. I will say that the number of emails and text messages reminding me about my appointment is a bit excessive - almost annoying, but as there are so many seniors in this area and plenty with memory issues, I understand. Thomas Pino, PA is very friendly, taking time to hear my concerns and questions. As it was my first visit, he performed a full body exam which resulted in no issues or problems. He put my mind at ease as far as a few spots I was concerned about. The exam is surprisingly fast and well worth the piece of mind knowing your skin is healthy.

This office got me locked out of iPledge by dragging their feet on labs then made me wait 30 days just to restart. After that? They rescheduled my next appointment an hour before it was supposed to happen and pushed me out another 25 days. That delay could've gotten me locked out again. No urgency. No accountability. Worse, they refused to send a proper prior auth for hospital-based labs, even after I gave them everything they needed. I begged for help for weeks. Staff were rude, dismissive, and downright discriminatory once I pushed back. Then they had the nerve to charge me a $50 no-show fee even though I'm a Medicaid patient (and no, you can't legally do that). I filed formal complaints with the Florida Department of Health and Medicaid. This place treats low-income patients like garbage. Advanced Dermatology should be ashamed of how this location is run.

Calls go unanswered, messages don't get returned in a timely manner (if at all), and billing questions are incredibly difficult to resolve. The lack of communication and responsiveness is honestly shocking for an otherwise reputable practice. It's disappointing because the quality of the doctors deserves better support. But at some point, great medical care alone isn't enough when the administrative side is this difficult to deal with. If this doesn't get addressed, I can see patients--including us--starting to look elsewhere. We want to stay, but the experience outside the exam room needs major improvement. Fix the phones. She is great! Her energy is calm and a bit introverted which is great for me because I am the opposite. Since 2019, I have seen about 4 different dermatologists, and she has been the only one to give me advice that works on my KP. Also, she has a good hand with administering steroid shots which is great if like me, you have a fear of needles. I will definitely be making this office my permanent dermatology office. The dermatology office is clean and well organized. The staff is helpful and move the patients in rather quickly without feeling rushed. I recommend this Dermatology office.

The stitch that she left in there caused pain and swelling for two months. When I went back to have it checked, another women tried to get it out, she did not. The person that left the stitch in there probably doesn't see that well. They have two doctors there and neither one of them checks the end result. I called the other day and said I need to have this checked by the DOCTOR. Oh, we can give you an appointment for May. Because of their screw up I spent 3 hours in a walkin clinic and they were able to make a small incision and remove a good size stitch. No I would not recommend this place, it's a production line.
