Terrible nurse who doesn't understand a disabled person can't sit on the table with their feet dangling and didn't even give me a chance to explain. She snapped this isn't going to work and closed the door and left. Well, me being the smart ass that I am, I opened the door standing there with just that paper sheet so that people in the waiting room could hear and I yelled. She ran out of here and said this wasn't gonna work. Does that mean I should put my clothes on and leave?. That got the doctor in there and I only went there because my PCP made me have a skin check. I have been trying to make an appointment for surgery since April and no one knows what they are doing. I get transferred from person to person leaving messages everywhere no one calling me back and no results. I just finished calling and I was told that the person who schedules surgery works from home and can not be contacted by me to make an appointment meanwhile since April, I've been trying to make an appointment for surgery with no results. I am beginning to think that no one works in this office that they're all a bunch of incompetent people who do not know their jobs. I am going to be forced to find another dermatology office and start from scratch to be able to get a removed. Thank God it's not cancer or I would've been dead a long time ago.I have never had to deal with such incompetence in my life. read more

Beware !! Incompetent staff. We have excellent Insurance. Never had a problem at our other dermatologist. Made one visit here and they billed it wrong so instead of paying the $97 co-pay like we would have if build correctly to the insurance company. We ended up paying $600 because of their incompetence. They showed no remorse and did not care. Told them they lost two patients. My wife's been in the healthcare billing for over 30 years and knows there's ways to fix this, but they had no interest and told us too bad. We would never recommend this company !! read more

The care you receive is fine, but plan on sitting in their very small waiting room for a long time. On three occasions I waited over 45 minutes each time. Twice I've given my seat to elderly women, because there was standing room only. I actually waited in my car and asked the receptionist to call or text me when my appointment was ready. Also, don't expect a smile or compassionate response from the receptionist. It's hard to believe ADCS wants a personality like her to be the first person a patient sees. read more

I have been pleased with the staff and Dr Lisa Nyanda at her Spring Hill practice. The practice on SR-54 in New Port Richey was the original one I started with and was happy with the staff and Dr Lisa Nyanda here too. Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery has many locations and I have had treatments for skin cancer at three different locations for MOH-surgeries and regular removal of Basal Cell and Squamous Cell carcinomas. Made an appointment, provided insurance card and ID at the time of the appointment. Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery 11021 Spring Hill Drive, 34608. On the day of the appointment I was seen by Terri Beck PA-C and another employee who was not named in my medical records, among other missing information. Specific reason for visit, 2 lesions biopsied and 1 spot removed. I was told today's visit would be close to 600.00......my response why? "Your insurance company states your deductible has not been met." I'm not understanding this as I have a 1000 dollar deductible and 2000 yearly max, in which my employer provides a 500.00 medical card that pays toward the deductible. Leaving me responsible for 500 of the deductible. I have a great team of Dr's that I have been seeing regular since April, running massive needed blood test and scans. Otherwords my deductible has been met and I'm very close to reaching my yearly max. I allowed Terri Beck to preform the one biopsy, which came back as Basal Cell Carcinoma, my insurance company received two claims for lab test, yet my medical records indicate only one lab result. I personal paid out close to 200.00 at the end of the office visit. I did not have the funds available to have the medical care needed. While In fact if the proper authorization was done with my insurance company, I would of have received the medical care I was in need of, the practice would have received their portion from the insurance company, and they would be a part of my excellent team of doctors. Due to incompetency at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, I will be seeking treatment elsewhere. I advise everyone else to do the same. My medical records are not complete nor accurate, which will be reported. I have found several discrepancies. Worse than that is they could of done all 3 procedures and I would of paid them my portion the day of the visit, and all would be well. Why should a patient have to go through such nonsense? I was upset the day I found they charged me and double dipped my insurance company, first call was to my Insurance company. I needed the biopsy results to seek treatment, so I waited until my results were ready and then I let them know what a horrific experience this was and how they lost a patient that has awesome insurance. At one point, on of the workers behind the desk, demanded that I calm down and threatening to call the "police". Mind you this was at closing time on Friday and there were no patience in the waiting room. I had to inform her that is this county we have a awesome Sheriff's Dept. and please make that call so we can get this Insurance Fraud you committed reported. Clean, well organized, professional office. Called for an appointment and was scheduled for same day. Everyone was on time.No sitting around in the waiting room...waiting. The staff was really friendly and did a great job of explaining everything. I actually enjoyed "going to the doctor" for a change. read more
