That was the whole point of the appointment - to get the root canal. Does he not realize that patients have jobs and can't just take days off work for no reason? Plus - there wasn't a single patient in the office other than me - probably because of treating patients like this. I'll take by $2000 elsewhere...

Consulting doctor recommended nitrous oxide sedation for my anxiety, which the other doctor then tried to talk me out of as he is inexperienced working with patients under sedation. The office staff did not explain the costs fully and told me that part of the cost of the procedure would be "written off" which was not reflected on my statement and I am waiting to find out if this is true or if I will be billed for this portion. This office also does not e-file prescriptions.

I was a little scared because root canals have such a bad rep, but thankfully I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Gamson. I was seen promptly when I arrived and felt more relaxed in just a few minutes. Dr. Gamson is gifted - finding common interests to distract patients in a charming manner - and at the same time explaining what he is doing and what to expect. Also, it's clear he's a top notch expert when it comes to root canals. I had no pain during the procedure - just a bit of sting with the shots. The root canal immediately addressed the radiating pain. I was so relieved that an experience I expected to be horrible was not - and I enjoyed Dr. Gamson's charming chatter, which distracted me from my fears. The office staff was efficient and helped me understand the insurance coverage situation. Also, the office and treatment rooms have unique art displayed that I enjoyed learning about. Anyway, I'm going back soon as I suspect another tooth needs treatment...it's nice that I know I have no reason to worry.

I went in really anxious because of past dental trauma and also in pain with an infection, and I was overthinking everything, but they were all super patient with me the whole time. Dr. Jafari kept explaining what he was doing and made sure I was okay before moving forward, which helped a lot more than I expected. Christina and the rest of the team were really kind and gentle and made the whole experience feel way less scary. Overall, I'm really grateful for how they treated me. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

My dentist (Dr. Babak Noohi A+) referred me to Dr. Jafari. They coordinated my procedures and care and within hours I was in Dr. Jafari's chair. It's a little ways from Capitol Hill, but I took Uber there and metro (Whiteflint station) home. Dr. Jafari and his staff are great. I was highly anxious, but the pill Dr. Noohi prescribed helped. Dr. Jafari explained exactly what he was going to do. He went over covid protocols, etc. Before I knew it I was gathering my coat and on my way home. Dr. Jafari reached out to me that evening to see how I was doing and again the next day to also tell me how the procedure went when I was a little more clear headed. I had heard horror stories of root canals - to be honest there was no discomfort at all. Dr. Jafari and his assistant have great chairside calming presence and communicated the entire time exactly what they were doing and how I was doing. Many thanks.
