We never have had to wait for our appointment time. Before you can see a doctor, you have to meet with Mimi first. There's an initial intake that doesn't count (so you don't necessarily have to bring your child) and then she meets with your child, and then after that you are able to schedule an appointment with a psychiatrist. There is parking on site, and it's easy to get to this place.

We checked in at registration and were then escorted upstairs. All of the staff and nurses introduced themselves and explained each step of the day and what would happen next so we were always prepared. The whole experience was very efficient. The surgery lasted only 15 or so minutes and we were out the door a few minutes later. On the second floor, there is complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for those who accompany patients. There is also a TV on the second level. The third level waiting area is a little quieter. The lobby has an atrium in the middle that is open to all floors so you can hear all the noise happening across all 3 levels. There is a cafe on the 2nd floor as well, but the hours are only 9:30am-1:30pm Monday-Friday. Looks like they have soups, sandwiches, bagels, etc. as well as canned, bottled, and fountain drinks. The only negative was I noticed the "patient visitor representative" was just sitting at the desk watching videos on his phone. That is a pet peeve of mine, at least pretend to work while you're at work. There was a lot of signage around so everyone should be able to navigate around anyway.
