I waited 2 months to get an appointment for an MRI. They cancelled it, stating there was no prior authorization. Had Dr office call them while I was in a 3 way call with them. Dr. Office faxed it to them. They reset appt only to find out they cancelled appointment and no records of any prior authorization they confirmed they received the day before. Very professional and caring staff. Please watch your banking, credit card that was used. I was charged 10 months later for a service that was already paid for at the time. You have to talk to someone in another country, they seemed to not care about nothing. Was told we will return the amount to my credit in 5 days they didn't, had to stop fraudulent charge. read more

Staff are very nice. My only complaint is; I called the week prior to coming to confirm the times for walk in X-Ray, I was told 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 P.M. and at the time of this review their website still states the same. The next week I left work early to get here by 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival I was told to have a seat and I would be registered. About 10 minutes later I was called up and handed paperwork to fill out and told at that time, they would be hurrying the process as the X-Ray stops at 5:30 P.M. I quickly filled out the paperwork and was back at the counter with in 5 minutes. It was at this time I was told the X-Ray machine shuts down at 5:00 P.M. and I would need to come back tomorrow. The staff were polite, however, this "change" in hours was failed to be communicated properly to patients and what appeared to be staff. read more

All those things they say on their machine when you're waiting on hold for them to talk is absolutely incorrect. They're not here for the patient. They're here to get money. The manager is awful. They made me pay even though I had insurance and now I'm waiting to get the difference back and I try to get somebody on the phone to find out when I will get like $300 they stole from me and they haven't even put a claim through to my insurance yet and it has been a few weeks since my appt. They Put me on an endless hold and I can't speak to anyone to get this resolved even though I got approval from my insurance and they said they would give me the difference back Stay away!!!!! I arrived here only minutes after my doctor made a recommendation for me to get a CT Scan, once I arrived and signed in the receptionist immediately acknowledged receiving the order from my doctor and started the preparation required prior to getting the scan underway. As stated in other reviews this is a very well maintained facility but more importantly it is ran by a very professional and well trained staff. After my CT Scan I was told that the results would be forwarded to my doctor's office ASAP. The results were presented as promised and very accurate which is most important. I definitely would return to this facility if required in the future. read more

This is my first review and it may be a bit odd that it's for an xray center but I was incredibly impressed!. I went for xrays of my back and neck. I got a call from them to give me directions after I was referred to them for xrays. The person on the phone was very polite, helpful and even accurate! The facility is very well decorated and is more like a hotel lobby than an imaging center. The (first) waiting area has comfortable chairs and a TV on each side so you can watch from anywhere. When I was called in, I saw the second(?) waiting room which was even nicer than the first with very large, padded arm chairs. The tech was very pleasant and actually fun to talk to. When I was done she told me I could wait in the inside waiting room until my xrays were ready so I could take them with me. Looking at the nice area, I joked about which hallway to go down to get a Starbucks coffee while I waited. In response she pointed me to the Keurig coffee maker that was well stocked with different coffees. Wow! So I sat and had a coffee until my xrays were ready. I left with all my xrays on a CD along with a viewer app so I could keep copies and see them myself. I never thought I would write a recommendation for an imaging center but I liked it so much that I took pictures to show my wife when I got home. The only thing that I think could make them better would be to replace the typical clipboard with an optional computer tablet. I hate forms! read more

I cannot brag enough about these people. They are so patient, kind and caring. I was in excruciating pain and went in for an MRI of my L Spine. This was my first MRI ever. I was extremely nervous and didn't know what to expect. Taylor was the tech and she explained everything to me and told me exactly what to expect. I actually ended up having to come back for an MRI on my pelvis and then a CT scan of my pelvis. Jody at the front desk was amazing every time I went in and she was so helpful. She made me feel like she truly cared about how I was feeling. I also got to meet the office manager, Jeff. He was extremely compassionate and caring and went the extra mile. My Dr's assistant sent me to this imaging office. Where the females at the desk were so rude I wanted to get my money back before seeing a radiology specialist.I was talking about my Dr. Who is doing the covid research Dr Rankin is a great Dr. As I was watching the news at 4:45 my mask slipped down and they basically raised their voice at me over it. And as they see that he was my Dr. And was not wearing his mask on the news they said oh no wonder he's not wearing his mask either and proceeded to keep being rude and talking poorly about the physician who sent me to this office. I was enjoying my day til I came inside this place. Very much disrespectful front desk workers...Rudest of rude period! And they are still giggling and being very immature i would strongly advise anyone to go where the staff is professional and not so full of insults... read more

When you have to go get testing you are often nervous. The homey waiting room with large screen TVs will help keep you calm while you wait. I would not recommend being the first appointment though or you might be greeted by the same rude receptionist that I got. 2/28/2017 at 6:15 a.m. I was the first to arrive and the door was still locked. She saw me and made me wait outside while she turned on the TVs etc. when I handed her a hundred to pay for my 84.25 bill she huffed and acted like I was causing her a huge hassle. The rest of the staff however was very nice. The facility was clean and comfortable. You can count on having to wait a little while, but every time I have gone there, it has not been too long. read more

I was treated with respect as soon as I stepped into this beautiful establishment for X-rays on hip. Their information forms to complete can be done in approx. 5 minutes instead of all the info most other medical establishments need. Wait time for the X-ray was less that 15 minutes. I wish they also did mammograms but this is definitely my place for any future needed X-rays. read more

I had a tech who fell behind schedule because she did a scan on someone who wasn't on the schedule but did him/her anyway prior to my appointment time (probably a relative of someone there) and she clearly wanted to make up the time by pretending that I didn't fit into the machine. My MRI was for brain ONLY but she put tons of foam all around my head and neck (I had never, ever had to have foam around my head and neck before for an MRI), then lied to me by saying the machine automatically stopped because I was too fat to fit (I know for a fact that the machine doesn't automatically stop, my body did not need to go the whole way into the machine, just my head). She was not interested in me at all and made excuses to get rid of me as fast as possible so she could continue with her other patients and "catch up" on the schedule. Complaining to the management did not help and I was brushed aside as if I didn't matter to anyone there. Apparently whoever was not on the schedule was more important than I was even though I had an appointment scheduled and I was treated like CRAP! DON'T GO TO ORANGE CITY FOR MRI, CT OR XRAY! I had to go the whole way over to Ormond Beach to get my scan done - a lot farther away for no good reason!!! I WOULD GIVE THEM A ZERO STAR IF I COULD!! read more

Horrible experience. My daughter had an 11:45am appointment for a thyroid scan. We were told to arrive at 11:30am for paperwork. We arrived at 11:25am and filled everything out. We were then called back up to the front desk and were informed that we had to re-schedule since they had the appointment at 11:30am with an 11:15am check in. I asked why we had to re-schedule since we actually arrived 5 minutes before the time they had listed. Then they told us they scheduled a walk-in instead. A WALK-IN with no appointment! We then left. I will NEVER, NEVER go back to this place nor would I recommend them to my worst enemy. The funny thing is, I had an appointment there 2 weeks ago. I was there on-time yet waited an hour and 45 minutes before they saw me. Apparently even being on time means nothing to them. read more

I just got off the phone with the scheduler at LAD after my second call into the office to make an appointment for an MRI. I was informed the first time to contact the doctor who ordered the MRI as they needed to obtain an authorization from my insurance company so I contacted my doctor. They advised that LAD was to obtain that. So I contacted LAD again. After sitting on another long wait of 15 minutes before someone came to the line, the scheduler picked up the phone sounding irritated. She was very unprofessional. After a couple rude comments from her, I indicated that I changed my mind, I will not be making an appointment there and hung up and called RFI in Lake Mary. Much more pleasant people to work with. No one wants to deal with rude people by phone. read more

Beware of this facility. The decor is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly at the beginning but be careful as they may scam you out of your money. Per my doctor, I required an ultrasound and CT scan. During my CT scan, the technician who attempted to inject the dye for my with-contrast had to stick me multiple times and instead of finding a more experienced technician to finish the task, she took it upon herself to say to me "well maybe you don't need with-contrast, what are your symptoms?" It is well known that as an imaging tech you are in no position to make medical decisions. All of this would not solely cause for a public complaint, but when I returned to my surgeon he advised me that the ultrasound and CT scan transcripts written up by this facility contradicted each other. I then had to pay out of pocket to get the testing redone, and when I contacted Advanced Imaging regarding this they sent me an extremely unprofessional email response. Between myself and my insurance company, Advanced Imaging received almost $1,500 for useless information. My advice, take the extra drive and get your imaging done elsewhere. read more
