This is the one that is located next to the Brownwood Hotel and also... just for reference... Wolfgang Puck restaurant. There is also a Starbucks in the very near perimeter. The ladies that work at Lake Medical Imaging (Brownwood location) where extremely attentive to my mother as they got her ready for her CT scan. For the first time ever ... I didn't mind "hanging out" in the office there while I waited for my mother to finish her CT Scan.

"We don't typically give results they are sent to Doctor" Yes, I know but NOT what I was told by Tech . So which is it ? Doctor says Mamogram in 1 year ? My doctor stopped taking my insurance so had to find another: Dr. Soto and Dr. Campos were my…read moredoctors at Premier over this last year. I am not going back. Dr. Soto's nurse, a man, was curt and very impatient with me, leaving me feeling ridiculed and very demeaned. I have a condition where I am slowed down and I didn't react fast enough for his diabetic foot check = he raised his voice a bit and acted as if I were a child incapable of understanding. Dr. Soto's appointment with me had lasted less than 2 minutes and he never once looked at me face to face. My prescriptions were entered incorrectly and rather than deal with the issue, he just ordered all new prescriptions, even for the specialist doctor not part of their practice. This ended up creating all kinds of issues for insurance and, to this day almost six months later, I am still trying to get one of the Rx transferred back to the specialist but it is still overridden by Dr. Soto's order. It is supposed to be 3 pills but Dr. Soto reduced it to 1 per diem so I am not getting a therapeutic dose. THEN I decided not to go to Dr. Soto again and went to Dr. Campos whom I had seen originally until he left the Maricamp office for OTOW - an hour from my home. The Villages office is very snotty and I didn't want to go there so opted to drive over an hour to OTOW. Dr. Campos did listen to me within our 15 minutes and ordered many tests that Dr. Soto never had time to consider. One of them was a renal test and it had been rescheduled once without telling me. Then the day I show up for the real appointment finally, the roads had been closed for two accidents and the new flyover for some cut off in Ocala ended up in a detour. As a result, I was 17 minutes late. I had to wait in the waiting room for the people in line and by that time it was 24 minutes late. The receptionist was ok but the actual person to do the test obviously was very annoyed that, as the last person, I was going to require her to stay later and she would not get to go home early. She raised her voice in the waiting room and announced my test so that everyone could hear - a violation of HIPPA laws! It was rather sensitive and I was humiliated on top of being so frustrated from the reschedule and the traffic and I admit I wasn't the most patient person. However, I melted down, calling loudly "Dr. Campos, I need help." The office manager and the test person and all the people in the waiting room must have thought I was a total flake. I was so upset that I left without the test I had been waiting for over three months. The test person, I guess, got to go home early. I am still with symptoms for over six months now and this is not good medical practice. I also concur with everyone's comment about their call center - you can't get the same person twice and the system is non-functional. THAT'S IT - I can't recommend them - I like Dr. Campos but Dr. Soto is burnt out and the staff obviously would prefer to be anywhere else. The only saving grace is the blond receptionist at Maricamp - she is friendly, fast, and so kind. The rest of them should be fired. Sorry it is so long but if I save someone such disrespect, so be it. Thank you.
