The first one was professional and just couldn't get close to what I could afford. I did notice he didn't take any measurements. The second manager wasn't any help at all and tried to talk me into making installment payments. I couldn't get it through his head that I couldn't afford to make monthly payments And at my age who would want to or afford to. He left very perturbed. He also didn't take any measurements or give me a price. I was very discouraged and really didn't think that I was going to get anew shower. Then Tony arrived. I explained what had happened on the first 2 appointments He immediately put me at ease . He explained the differences between the products that the other 2 companies used and his products. We then checked out the bathroom .Tony explained what the plumber and installer would do. He also checked out the Cellar to make sure there wouldn't be any problems down there. Tony taken all the measurements before going to the Cellar. Then he wrote up the qoute explaining The configuration and parts that were being ordered. I was very excited to see that Tony was able to make the remodel happen. I can't say enough about Tony. Excellant communication, Knowledgeable, fantastic customer service, and a pleasure to work with. He did advise me that the installment would happen around the first week in November. It was actually completed 2 Weeks prior to that. I can't say enough about the Bath Fitter team. This is how you turn on a New Yorker :). I chose them to install granite countertops with under-mount sinks in 3 rental units we renovated. Being totally clueless about granite installation I overly researched the process. Even after all of that I didn't realize they all have a different way of charging and different items covered during the process. When I spoke with the owners about my concerns I felt reassured that I had chosen the right team. What I love about Wenbo and Jennie is that they have the granite onsite so you are able to see the quality of the stones they use. I also love that they also cut, polish and seal the stone onsite too. That is huge because it will save you so much time from the moment they go to your location to measure the countertop space and do the templates to the date of installation. I am so blessed to have been able to find and work with true professionals in their field. Jennie and Wenbo you two are definitely my to-go-to team for my future renovation projects. We had an awful and disgusting experience with this place. I would rate it negative if I could…read more The owner's wife claims that she knows EVERYTHING about the interior design while complaining about our kitchen was so small. She made fun of what I was thinking and her suggestions were actually incorrect and all the measurement her husband took was all wrong. Since they were recommended by a contractor, I chose to trust them at the beginning and the disaster has begun. First, since all the measurements were wrong, they ordered the wrong cabinets, my corner cabinets were wrong and they said just make the sink not to face the middle of the window, then I could use the wrong cabinet. Also, they said, in order to use the cabinets that they already delivered, I could just take out the door trims so it would fit. The idea was horrible! They wanted you to accommodate their mistakes ! Imagine you have to use the sink everyday which is not aligned with the center and also the door with no trim around it. Anyway, I insisted they exchanged to the right size of the cabinets and of course, a LOT of attitude and complaining why I was so picky. Moving on to the installation of the counter top. First, I chose a very beautiful granite stone and told them how I would want it to be cut. They refused to show and confirm what was the final design because they were "BUSY". The tragedy happened when they delivered the counter top, it was the exactly the cut I keep warning them that I DON'T want. The edge was black and white so you can tell immediately that the seam was there. I understand there will be a color variation, but that shouldn't be emphasized like that. Plus, why they would refuse a customer to go onsite to check their 2000 dollars investment ? At the end, the owner yelled at me very loud and took the whole granite away. It was very intimidating as my husband wasn't there. This place will be your last place to do business with. They use "hand drawing" to design your kitchen, card board to do the molding of your counter top. Our final counter top was designed by a local kitchen studio, the owner used laser to measure and cut the stone. The installation was super professional and pleasant (GRANITE & KITCHEN STUDIO).

I had a TERRIBLE experience…read more I hired Allied Flooring to renovate my bathroom following a flood. On the last day of the renovation (of which the estimated end date was continually pushed out day after day), they caused a pipe leak while removing the vanity. They put small pot under it and left for the entire day and night, causing it to flood the brand new bathroom, into my basement. The contractor installed the flooring over the SOAKED subfloor and didn't tell anyone until I showed up and saw it. They refused to hire emergency water mitigation, telling me they'd buy a fan at Home Depot. I called my insurance and got those services. After many emails and calls, the manager, Gary, would not give me the insurance information of the contractor. (Speaking of the contractor, a friend who was painting in the house heard the subcontractor bragging about how he only hires felons.) Anyway, I had to hire legal assistance to eventually get the owners attention to pay the insurance deductible for water mitigation. He claimed he never heard of the incident until I sent a legal letter demanding insurance information or payment. The day I contacted my insurance, the manager, Gary, went to see the damage. He was over an hour and a half late, and I had to leave before he got there. When I got back the next day, I saw they retaliated and had stolen tools given to me by my late father, and that they sawed my wall-mounted stainless steel paper towel holder in half and took the part they cut off. The house was empty aside from my tools, and "Danny" (the subcontractor) and Gary were the only people with access to the house. These people are dishonest thieves with no sense of personal or professional integrity. Stay far, far away.

He arrived at our home within 2-1/2 hours of my morning distress call, diagnosed the problem quickly, and was able to replace the broken part from the inventory of parts in his van. In and out, hardly any appliance down-time. Service call + parts and labor was very affordable--particularly when I was half-expecting that I'd have to buy a replacement gas range at at least 10 times the cost. Very impressive. Highly recommended.
