I asked what the charge would be for them to come out .I was…read morequoted 159.00 I said OK. when the technician came out he said the problem wasn't the Machine but the drain and I should call a plumber which was fine. Time to paid the bill and he quoted me over 200.00. I told the technician that I was quoted 159.00. He said because it was a front loader it was 189.00 plus tax. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a women and a senior citizen. I will never call or do business with Marc's appliances again. I don't like being cheated.

My experience was classic bait and switch. Ordered a 48" range online at an excellent (but not…read moreunique) price, website claimed it was in stock and that I would need to pick it up at their West Hartford warehouse. Got a confirmation E-mail stating order would be "processed once payment was confirmed" (odd, since CC payments are generally automated these days). Next day, I got what appeared to be an automated E-mail (no name or phone number, DoNotReply sender) stating that their "policy" was that I would need to come to their store in person to confirm identity & credit card, and that the item was a special order (not in stock after all, I guess!). Since it's a 4-hour drive each way, going there twice defeats the purpose of an online order... When I called to try to clear things up, "Jack" told me the item was not in stock and that there appeared to be a pricing error (more alarm bells start up in my head). After consulting with his manager, he did call me back, to tell me that the part number is not on the Kitchenaid site, so they can't even order it, and they don't have it in stock. I just went back on their site, and they still list that exact part number listed (KFID948SJP), but at a much, much higher price, of course. When I expressed my displeasure and asked to speak to a manger, it went to voice mail. The only excuse offered was "the website is pretty automated". I get that mistakes happen, but reputable stores make some effort to make it right with the customer. A retail store is responsible for their advertised pricing.

This shop is a cross between an 'Estate Sales' business and a 'Good Will' shop. Some of the items…read moreare very high quality (Waterford glassware) other items are more mundane (common glass pitcher). Definitely a come often and see what they have sort of business. One big, open floor organized by type. Bathroom items together, chairs/lamps/coffee tables near each other and so on. There were some brand new, never used, 30" bathroom vanities with marble tops, two larger vanity tops only - also marble, a couple of medicine cabinets, lots of doors both inside and out, attic vents for the exterior, tiles, so many chairs from waiting room to living room. Beds, electric stoves, carpet squares, office chairs, lots of lovely curio cabinets, desks, some artwork, mirrors, and plenty of lamps, some books, and a little bit of kitchen ware. Remember to look up! There are a lot of ceiling lights suspended from pipes running overhead. The prices here are excellent. I'm a big advocate of reduce, reuse, recycle and this is a good location to find household items, some used, some new and your purchase supports the Habitat for Humanity mission. Win-win!

I have been kicking myself for not having any idea the ReStore store has been so close to me for a…read morewhile now. I purchased my house in 2016, this store would have saved me so much money, I had no idea what it was, or had any interest in it. When I would drive by, I thought it was a storage facility. I didn't think twice about putting it into Google, Yelp or going inside to see what it was. My friend pointed it out to me the other day, and said we have to go there. Ohhmyygoodness this is a MUST stop if you are moving into a new apartment or house. They have furniture galore. They have dining tables and chairs, desks, lamps and chandeliers, framed artwork and mirrors, and so much more. New inventory is constantly coming in. Everything is so much less expensive than any furniture store, even less expensive than Ikea, yet the quality is there. I got this very cute painting of a lighthouse in a beautiful white wood frame for $5. I also got a pouf for sitting for only $15. I have been looking for one of these for a while, they are super expensive, the one that matches my couch was $200. This one is black and white, pretty neutral, looks great and is such a bargain. If you need anything new for your home, please stop by here first. There is no way you'll walk out empty handed.
