Stewart charged us a $150.00 restocking fee, told us that it worked fine and then sold it to an employee. This is bad business, @150.00 is a lot of money to charge a customer, that returned the light in good faith, because it did not work( but I guess the customer is never right) We paid for the pole attached also, an was given bad advise, because the one we had worked just fine for any light. Shame on you Stewart lighting and Nita for your behavior certaining this return. There was a reason your store was empty of customers. Background: Needed to have 3 outdoor outlets installed but the wires had no power so I did a look up for electricians in Fleming Island and found QUICK ELECTRIC SERVICE. I prefer to use small, local businesses as much as possible and this family owned and operated company, just down the street from my house was perfect. Razvan and his son Nicholas were right on time, polite and knowledgeable. Called on Friday to set an appt. and they had availability at 1030 on Monday. After some small discussion on what I was intending to use the plugs for e.g. one will be plugged in full time for my Goldfish pond waterfall. They made a recommendation and traced the old wires getting nice outdoor weather proof outlets on their own 15 and 20 Amp circuits installed within an hour or so after a quick trip to Home Depot to make sure what they installed matched everything else. Small example of how I could see how much price they take in their work to go and get matching stuff rather than throw in whatever they had in the van. Once that was finished I asked if they could take a look at my daughter's room because one switched controlled the power to ALL of her wall outlets and the fan. Razvan identified multiple issues and troubleshot everything while Nicholas explained what he was doing and how this or that worked. They went well above and beyond as this ended up requiring a rewire of the switch, a wall outlet AND the entire ceiling fan to get it all working on a new two switch light switch.
