I would also like to state when searching for an attorney make sure you gather all of your facts to present to the attorney. Do as much research as you can. I scheduled my free consultation and I immediately felt welcomed by staff. The wait time to speak to the attorney was at most 10 minutes. Once I sat down with the attorney he asked me a ton of questions that were very pertinent to the case. Had he not asked specific questions I would not have chosen him. The attorney gathered all his facts and advised me of the the possibility of petitioning for my husband. Of course I reciprocated and asked a lot of questions as well. I had a list of questions and he answered them all. I feel this attorney is knowledgeable and definitely knows what he is doing. Also a key point to take into consideration is that this attorney's has a cheaper fee than other attorneys here in Nevada. This didn't play a factor in my decision to contract him. However it is a plus. I will keep updating as case status changes.

From start to finish, I felt completely unsupported and undervalued as a client. Communication was severely lacking -- I was the one who always had to call for updates, follow up repeatedly, and push just to get basic information about my own case. At no point did I feel guided through the process or reassured that my case truly mattered. I was shuffled around but my attorney was Astasia Lucas The staff and attorneys came across as cold, dismissive, and lacking empathy. There was little to no understanding of the seriousness of my situation or the emotional and financial toll it was taking on me. I lost my job and my livelihood due to a work-related injury, and this firm failed to advocate for me in a way that reflected the life-altering consequences I now live with. As a client who will be permanently injured, I expected professionalism, compassion, and strong representation. Instead, I felt like just another case file. I was not given the support, communication, or outcome I deserved. There's a high turnover here, and it was common that whomever I was working with at the time had left the practice. They submitted settlement offers without even running it by me. My particular case should have wrapped up in under 6mo, and it took TWO YEARS. I never did meet the new attorney that was assigned to my case. He didn't even pop in to say hello when I went in to sign the settlement! They added a charge that was way too high for making copies of invoices from the third parties, so when I asked the person they sent in for signatures for justification, she didn't have it ready. After a very long wait in the conference room, I finally gave up and signed the ppwk just to be rid of them once and for all. By the way, I did get a 'thank you' gift, it was a pen that didn't work. Par. I can't help but think if my case were 'big', I would have had a good experience with an attentive team focused on bringing it to a successful close...

SOOO..... When…read morepeople get lawyers or attorneys, it's usually because of your usual bumper or parking lot doozies. Quite Frankly, I'd take that over workers comp claims. You don't expect to get hurt at work, but when it happens, you want to be heard and being my first time in 30 years or so since my first job, I did not know what to expect. Definitely did not expect to be shuffled around like a deck of black jack cards, still loss and confused as to who I can see, when, and specifically, who is listening to my and my concerns? For my fellow YELPERS, if you were wondering why I have not post so much in the past year or so, this was it. I'm better and ready to ROCK. ANYWAYS! Fast forward a year and many research hours later I came across Behzadi Law Offices. Located in a nice plaza off of Sahara at Buffalo, a great location for me because just down the street was my WC MD. So +1 for convenience. My attorney Q has a very nice and comfortable office. Staff is A-mazing, warm and very welcome. What took me was how personable Q and the staff are. I came in with an appointment already in place. Greeted as I walked in and seen within minutes of arriving. Q sat me down in his conference room, and at that point I knew I made the right choice. He sat with me and listened to my concerns as to how my case was going, and before I knew it he had a game plan configured to myself and the next step in the process that needed to be addressed. Mind you, I am already 1 year in, with my case, so he had his work cut out for him in catching up, analyzing and executing his plan. It was not until the end of our meeting that he brought up $. In this case, a settlement for me. 1- I was not there for a settlement. I love work and for the past year up to before I hired Q, I was on a crazy restriction regiment and teetering of loosing my job due to those restrictions. Q was my insurance to assure job security while I recover correctly by seeing and understanding a lot of how the process works so I can retain my job. 2- Him mentioning the $ at the end of the meeting showed me that my concerns came first. More than what I was getting from WC insurance. Respectfully we know insurance do their best to help at a minimum, then when attorneys get involved, you can see a change in speed and direction. That was what Q was for me, structured recovery. Fast forward to today and at the end of the journey with the WC claim, I am better. Pain is not gone, but because of Q I was heard at work and I was able to keep my position at a different assignment. With this move I endure less pain and am able to recover naturally. Unfortunately this will stay with me forever, but knowing I can reopen when needed as explained by Q, and he will be there for me, relieved some of those worries that I carried with me for the first year. He has the option to plea: 1) guilty 2) no contest 3) not guilty. He pleas GUILTY!!!! WTF! I could have walked in the court and have done a better job defending myself. I now have to pay a fine that the judge was going to reduce the fine too had I walked into court. I now have a guilty plea on my record. I'm so pissed!!!
