It was a custody case, and I wasn't In need of IMMEDIATE services . Well, they kept $1,000.00 of my $2500 . And couldn't even tell me what for, they were even unaware of the poor communication between whoever schedules these online interviews and were unaware that someone cancelled it because of Juneteenth ... so when the lady called me , she was under the assumption we still had an appointment, Then... you're supposed to complete an online intake questionnaire.. which is very lengthy... and I never finished it . This ( from what they told me ) had to be done before the online interview can be done. I went there today , and recorded the whole conversation I had. And I was told they charged me because they started my complaint. BUT I NEVER ONCE DISCUSSED MY EXACT COMPLAINT NOR FILED OR FILLED ANYTHING OUT EXPLAINING IT EITHER. Very poor service, only answered my calls before they took my money. I will now have to go through the headache of filing a complaint with the Bar. The front desk staff kindly informed me I could still proceed with the consultation, but I would be charged for the full hour. I completely understood and accepted this, as the error was on my part. However, when Molly entered the room, her demeanor immediately felt cold and dismissive. It was clear to me that my tardiness had set a negative tone. I began to explain my situation--being a wife and mother of 17 years who was now seeking a divorce, along with child support and alimony. To my surprise, her response was not only discouraging, but also dismissive of the considerable evidence I had gathered. She strongly advised me to "try to work out a fair amount " with my husband, citing the fact that his income "couldn't be proven," despite the documentation I had prepared. I left the consultation feeling uneasy and defeated, questioning whether I even had a case. Thankfully, I decided to seek a second opinion, and I'm so glad I did. With the support of a different attorney and a diligent paralegal, I was ultimately I got both child support and alimony. Everything Molly claimed I wouldn't be able to obtain--was proven wrong. While I understand that attorneys may have different approaches and strategies, I believe that consultations should leave clients feeling heard, respected, and empowered--not discouraged. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Molly Rosenblum.

When I questioned the invoices, I was told the charges were for multiple attorneys, paralegals, and case managers "reviewing my case" over the phone. I requested call logs and documentation supporting those charges, but none were provided. When I asked them to stop working on my case and requested a refund, I was told to stop engaging. In two weeks, they filed one motion that did nothing to advance my case. Nothing. I later worked with a different legal team who genuinely advocated for me, won my case, and treated me with professionalism and respect. They even complimented how organized my records were, despite this firm blaming me for the state of my case. Mr. Willick also advised me that I could not do something that I ultimately did. I followed through, and it worked out. His legal advice was incorrect. Based on my experience, I received no value for the amount billed. The work they claim they performed does not justify the amount charged. I would not recommend this firm. Whether you're financially secure or already struggling, be very cautious before trusting them with your case and your money.
