Back in 2014 Ghandi took 2500 as she told me my ex seemed stupid and easy to defeat in court. She then asked what kind of a schedule I wanted. I wanted primary bc I had HAD primary AMICABLY (with emails to PROVE THAT) since the child was BORN. Only AFTER taking my $ She said she couldn't even try to get primary/refused to write a motion for it and I had to be "reasonable" (and basically accommodate the father's every whim) and give her an appropriate schedule. She TOLD ME TO GIVE HIM MY CHILD TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE I WAS COOPERATIVE AND THEN USED THE FACT THAT I FOLLOWED HER ADVICE AGAINST ME --saying the father "now" had joint -- BECAUSE OF HER ADVICE. Then she refused to do any work and kept 100% of my $. She would not even write a single motion and she did not appear at all and she kept $2500 and I was too inexperienced to understand that I should have filed a fee dispute with the Nevada bar for which I would have gotten all of my money back because she didn't do a single thing (besides give advice that caused irreparable damage for the next 20 yrs. Of MY life and even WORSE FOR MY CHILD. This is Ghandi's life: She lives richly for a short while off of the life-long, severe pain she causes naive mothers and their innocent children. read more

Summary: Knowledgeable, highly efficient, caring and responsive Found this firm via a search engine that lead me to Yelp. My family was seeking guardianship for an ill parent. I called on a Monday and had an appointment for a Tuesday. Staff e-mailed me later that Monday to confirm my scheduled appointment and provide me with paperwork and excellent directions to the office. Upon arrival, I was seen at the scheduled time by Laura Deeter. Laura also works with Clark County Family Court. She listened carefully to our situation and showed genuine concern. when we did not understand certain items, she repeated the information without be condescending. She advised us that she would give us a quick turnaround on the matter, which was very comforting in our high stress case. It was later discovered that our mother had a Springing Durable Power of Attorney in her Will and Trust Paperwork. Laura explained that this would aid us financially but not in a healthcare situation. Though she honestly told us that for now, we would not need a guardianship, this firm as certainly earned my respect and loyalty. I feel 100% faith and trust that this is an honest, genuine group. We dealt with an attorney and his staff in the past on an estate matter who was disorganized, uncaring, disrespectful, not listening, etc. To work with this agency is like finding a legal treasure of gold. Very disappointing. This firm goes through front office staff weekly. The office manager will not talk to you when you call and then in the middle of my divorce case Nedda Ghandi thought it would be a good idea for me to look for a new attorney. She's always late, or the typical "something came up" excuses. Then was informed by email I was released. So now waiting for my refund and records and I'll bet that will take weeks maybe months because she is not professional. Would not recommend this firm at all. read more

I have learned way to much about divorce law this past year. I went through 2 attorneys before finding Laura Deeter. My experiences were not good. One attorney kept running up my bill by saying one thing one day and the next week saying the opposite, so I would be confused and need to talk to her more. Hired Laura to help my kid settle his dads estate when his dad was killed by his girlfriend. Girlfriend stole all of the estate assets, including the ashes. Laura went on maternity leave, but failed to inform me. When she finally responded, it was to refuse to file a motion asking the court to require the girlfriend to return the estates assets to the child who inherited everything, she even refused to ask the court for the ashes. The judge told me that because she didn't file things timely, I needed to hire a new attorney. The judge also instructed me to find a bank to set up a custodial account so the 9k of my kids money Laura still has can be returned. However Laura neglected to write an order that meets a banks requirement, so Laura sits holding my child money probably to never be seen again along with everything she let the girlfriend steal from a child. Had heard she was a good attorney, but if my kid is her one mistake, it's a pretty awful one. Pick someone else. read more

Ouch. What a mistake dealing with this firm. The high point was Laura's sales pitch, which made us feel very comfortable that they could assist my family in dealing with my mom's tiny estate after she passed away. The low point was a little further down the road when we were already committed to using their services. Laura blatantly ignored our emails and phone calls for weeks at a time. Sometimes 3 weeks! We had simple, legitimate questions regarding this straight forward probate case. The only way I could get a response was to keep calling and begging her receptionist. Eventually, someone would call or write, and they always offered the same stale excuse... they were having personnel issues. "So so sorry." Probate took much longer than expected; it really felt like they were too busy with their more important clients than to work with us. I get it.... we're a small fish in the legal world, but we were still a paying client, and their "services" aren't exactly cheap. So, now, we walk away not even knowing if our family's best interest(s) have even been served. There's no real way for us to know, but it sure doesn't feel like it. It's surprising and irritating to read all the positive reviews for this place... how on earth? I guess if you're willing to take a chance, maybe you'll be among the lucky ones.
