I had just finished my appointment at advanced medical spa and laser center in Flemington, and the doctor was talking to a patient in the waiting area. She told the patient that she would never get laser hair removal because it's harmful for people with darker skin. I am the same complexion as the doctor. So that says to me that you don't care about your patients. At no time did she say to me that I should not consider laser hair removal because of my complexion. I would've never gotten the service. I absolutely love the Advance Medical Spa experience! I just started going this summer and wanted to try Botox. The staff helped me decide a different brand and less intense for first time users called Newtox. I really appreciate that they explained to me why Botox would be better after seeing how Newtox works. The results were incredible. Horrible experience with ADVANCED MEDICAL SPA, in Flemington - felt like BAIT AND SWITCH and they INAPPROPRIATELY USED MY EMAIL ADDRESS for this business and their affiliated business HUNTERDON DIGESTIVE HEALTH SPECIALISTS. They sell the "Skin Care Club" with a quote from their brochure - "$99 per month for UNLIMITED skin care treatments" from a list of various options then on the second visit they try to charge you for what would be $99 per month per treatment. Very sleazy, I recorded the first conversation because it seemed too good to be true and what they wrote in their brochure and verbally confirmed is not what they give. It took 4 weeks and many phone calls to get to get a credit and I noticed that while they said it was a mistake they were still giving out the same brochure to other clients. They used my email address to say that I voted for HUNTERDON HAPPENINGS for both best the Spa business and the digestive health business (which I never went to!). I work hard in my business and always try to do the right thing. There are many honest and hard working business out there. Nothing angers me more than a business doing sleazy tricks like this. read more

I wouldn't recommend this business. I called booking an appointment specifically for an IPL facial. After filling out the paperwork and meeting with the anestitician, I was told by the doctor that she definitely would NOT give me an IPL because the next day was going to be hot. I come from central Texas and have gotten many IPL's there. You're advised not to do saunas or heavy exercise and I've NEVER had a problem. She told me I'd have to wait until September and then proceeded to (basically sell) me all the other procedures she could do before getting the IPL with their "Gold Plan". Um, NO. I was NOT told on the phone this was a possibility. Oh yeah, they also charge $50 for the consultation. No wonder! read more

They had a special running before deciding to purchase I contacted them and inquired if they were open due to the pandemic and they said they were. I was so excited. I didn't have to go purchase the service on Groupon they honored its listed price. The staff was extremely helpful and professional adhering to old the CDC guidelines. I go to advanced medical spa for laser hair remover and for facials and I really like their services. The machine they use for hair removal is MD grade and not spa grade and I have seen great results. They made a big investment in the technology they use but their prices are very reasonable. Dr. Sinha is always there and always available. She makes sure to stop by and check in on everything and I feel like I'm in good hands. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. I am disappointed the way I was treated today by Liz. I had an appointment today at 1pm. I had to cancel due I took my husband to ER this morning he was not feeling well, and he was tested positive for COVID. I call and spoke to Liz an hour before my appt, explaining to her I am leaving the ER and my husband tested positive for COVID that I will need to cancel my appointment. She said to me I should have call and cancel my appointment 24 hours in advance, I am aware of there policy. However I didn't know my husband was going to get sick. Who would want to cancel a facial. I did the right thing and now I am being penalized for it. I could have been selfish and go to my appointment and probably spread COVID to them. I am so happy I am moving to another state I will never go back to this place. It seems that it is about the money and not the well being of others. read more

This is my second time coming to advanced med spa in flemington. I absolutely love my results. I'm only 31 and I was super insecure with the wrinkles on my face. I came here for dysport and the results that I got were amazing. Wrinkles completely gone and the results lasted longer then expected. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Please do not waste your time or money. I purchased a groupon for a IPL laser treatment. The "Dr." made me feel as if I committed a crime, especially when I didn't want to join her " skin care club". She was incredibly rude and seemingly annoyed with me. I felt very uncomfortable and she made me feel as if I had the worst skin in the world. The office is very unorganized and is a very stressful environment as a customer and employee. My face was not even cleansed before the treatment and after I was handed a baby wipe. A few things that made my experience unsatisfied. My appointment was at 2:00, I called to see if I could come in earlier. No problem changed it to 1:30. I arrived at1:20 as a new client figured paper work would take a while. Nope easy and waited until 1:50, until I was told to go to the room and relax. Taylor was rushing between me and another woman came in and asked if I had somewhere to be. I mentioned not until 4 and it was 2:13. How I know this was because I was so boree waiting, I was looking at my emails on my phone. Moving forward, I knew from speaking to the lady the day before, it takes about 45 minutes. I was done by 2:35! I spent more waiting and getting pushed to purchase another service. I corrected the amount due for their Valentine's special and then looking at groupon, it was even less if I did some homework. Was the place clean, yes. But after speaking to two friends, telling them my experience. They asked well was the facial worth it after the microdem...I said I didn't get one. They referred me to their medical spas that include facials and have medical grade machines as well. Maybe with a groupon price, I would return but after speaking to two friends, I rather spend my $99 special offer that includes a facial. read more

I agree with the reviewer whose recommendation was to "STAY AWAY. This place is super duper awful!!! I went in for a filler and came out with scars, lumps and bumps all over my face. Instead of inserting the needle deep enough under the skin for the filler Dr. Sinha inserted the need so that it made scars and scrape marks on my skin. She called it needling. She needled me alright. I just pray these scars are not permanent. I also agree that her and her staff try to up-sell products and services to separate you from your money. Dr. Sinha administered a "Vampire Facial" on me about 4 weeks. The results are not immediate and this past week 3 colleagues have complemented how good my skin looks. I looked in the mirror and I noticed how clear and even toned my skin had become. Wrinkles and pores were minimized and the skin was much more radiant ( I am 61). I found Dr. Sinha to be very skillful and reasonably priced. I never felt like I was being pressured to purchase anything yet Dr. Sinha did the take the time to explain different procedure and their pros and cons. Dr. Sinha has been my Gastroenterologist for several years. She recently opened the Advanced Medical Spa & Laser Center in Flemington. I would not think of trusting any other Dr. with any cosmetic procedure other than Dr. Sinha. As a Gastroenterologist, she has taken exceptional care of my insides, so my obvious choice was her when I decided to take care of my outside. I recently went to the new Medical Spa for a consultation for Botox. There is a wonder Aesthetician in the spa that did my consultation. During my consultation with the Aesthetician and Dr. Sinha my health history was gone over and Dr. Sinha created an individualized plan for my service. I did let her know I had a previous eye surgery for Ptosis. She took this into consideration when she did my procedure. She wanted to make sure I had the best result possible and I did!. I had the injections in my forehead as I was involuntarily scrunching and squinting the skin. You normally start to see a change by day 5. By the next day I could see a big difference. By day 5 I looked like a new person. People were no longer asking me what was wrong as I was no longer scowling. I no longer look like I am grimacing in photos. I am extremely pleased with the care I received and outcome. I will be back to the Medical Spa for maintenance and for any other services I would like to have done. I am so pleased I am getting first rate service without having to travel to New York. I have gone to this spa 2 times for dysport injections. I have had to go back twice because of uneven eyebrows and lines in my forehead. I am newly 34 and don't have strong lines to begin with. I started getting injections from rejuv spa in Bernardville and they were absolutely wonderful and nailed it the first time. I have kept going back to advanced medical spa because they are a lot closer to me. My injections have only lasted about 1-2 months and I have paid price and a half of what I did at rejuv and they lasted 3-4 months! This is a waste of money and I am truly upset about the money I wasted when I could have driven further and got what I was supposed to get. Advanced is so unprofessional. They got my name wrong 3 times and pulled 3 different charts until they got it correct. Usually when you go for your follow up and you need adjustments they don't make you pay extra! I had to pay extra for their mistake. I have never paid as much as I did with them for dysport injections. The fact that the product lasted half the time that it's supposed to is enough to make me write this review. read more
