I got my haircut the same as always, then I got my eyebrows threaded, and my underarms and arms waxed. They are very reasonably priced for essentially every service, are extremely clean, and really good about making appointments. Anita Aunty is so good at threading and waxing that it never even hurts. They are also very meticulous, and will make sure that there aren't hairs that they missed. Anyway, obviously I will be back. She did great work, but they decided to get rid of her anyway AND EWC did not even have the courtesy to sign off on her paper to submit to the state to obtain her license. The requirement for this is 1 month; she was employed almost 7. The state requirement is to work for 1 month and be proficient in "temporary hair removal". The state form does not mention anything about how much she needed to sell or pre-book. Shame on EWC. They take advantage of their employees. She never called out; she covered other peoples shifts; even sometimes did not take breaks in which she almost passed out one day. I am filing a complaint with the State......stay tuned. Oh and did I mention that there was no accruals for sick time on her pay stubs. I thought sick time was for full time and part time employees.....

Either way, these packages save you a ton of money and once it's paid off, it's nice being able to go in for a wax and only have to worry about the tip (if you so choose). I try not to let anyone other than Jannica touch me. She does an amazing job with my waxes. I find that some waxers have trouble waxing coarser hair textures, but Jannica is amazing and really knows what she's doing. She's also sociable so the time just flies by with her. She spent some extra time because I am about 90miles away from her. She was more concerned about finding the best remedy for me than anything else. I received a follow up call after the first treatment, talk about putting me at ease. She knew I had upcoming gyn appts and she basically spoon fed me all the questions I needed to ask but didn't know to ask on my own. After the second appt I was cleared of PCOS. BY THE THIRD VISIT half of my face was cleared, less breakouts, the horrid dark shadows of where the most coarse hair was became much lighter. By the fourth appt my entire face has been cleared once. I'm thoroughly satisfied with my entire experience. If you haven't lived it, you have not one ounce of idea of how humiliating and embarrassing it is for a woman to live with this. It interferes with the joys of life in a way that it almost paralyzes you and each day is a struggle to not this hold you back. BECAUSE OF MARY ANN I have regained my confidence. As I tried to explain my situation, she told me I was arguing and didn't allow me the opportunity to speak. Not only was she unable to give me the results that are expected from injecting a nodule pimple with a cortisone shot (the whole point in paying for the shot is to see flattening within 48 hours), but even worse - her technique was so shockingly poor that it caused severe fat atrophy in the entire area on my face. This has left an EXTREMELY noticeable dent in my face for several months that I now had to visit two separate med spas for consultations and ultimately had to pay $900 for a syringe of filler to see a slight resolution in the damage she caused. When I initially reached out to Dr. Niu about my concern of this divot due to fat atrophy in April 2025, she was extremely dismissive and took no accountability for the negative side-effect of her work. She mentioned that she had already provided me a refund (which was false because she had only given me a PARTIAL refund) and did not offer to fix the problem that she had created. The partial refund she gave me did not even begin to cover the amount of money I had to spend to fix this. I have pictures of the damage she caused as well as my text messages with her that show how unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive she was throughout the experience. Obviously this was distressing and disheartening for me as a patient. She is not a trustworthy or skilled practitioner and a simple conversation with her will prove that she's not confident speaking to a lot of the procedures she offers. I regret going against my intuition and trusting her anyway. She deletes her bad reviews and the one or two bad reviews that I have seen on here, she has replied to in an immature and dismissive manner that would not be expected from a true professional doctor. I am reporting her to the New Jersey Medical Licensing Board because this is absolutely unacceptable and I don't want other women to go through what I did. My once luscious, black, bouncy curls are now thin, frayed, and dry. My ends are red and my overall head is a light brown with blonde wire streaks. Who knows if my hair will grow back since she killed it at the roots, but one thing is for sure--GOD was on my side when I stood up and left with wet sopping hair.
