I had to reach out to them to see what was going on. I called three times to the office, and they said that a nurse would call me back. Today after a week and my third call to West Coast the nurse calls me and the first thing out of her mouth is What's up!! She did not even introduce herself to me, she just said What's UP!! I asked her do you want to try that again? She said sorry and began to introduce herself with attitude, my name is Cindy what can I help you with!! I said nothing and that I was going to switch my dad's referral to a company that wanted his business. If she was going to give me attitude the first time we spoke on the phone, what kind of attitude would she have given my 83-year-old father in poor health? I will never use West Coast Valley Medical, and I hope whoever reads this won't ether!

My review is specifically for the ER department…read more I truly try to be understanding because I know hospitals are understaffed, overwhelmed, and the staff deals with difficult situations every day. I've always remained polite and patient during my visits. But after multiple experiences here, I honestly feel like something needs to be said. Every single time I've come to this ER, the wait has been excessive -- usually 7+ hours just to be seen or placed in a room, followed by several more hours waiting for updates or care once inside. I understand emergencies happen and patients are prioritized by severity, but the overall experience feels extremely disorganized and lacking compassion. The waiting room is consistently dirty and overcrowded, with visibly sick people sitting for hours without updates. What bothered me most, though, was the attitude from some of the staff at the front desk. Patients and family members asking simple questions are often spoken to like they're inconveniencing the staff just for needing help or clarification. During my most recent visit, I spent nearly 10 hours there before eventually deciding to decline admission and go home. I was placed in a room without a pillow or blanket and asked three separate times for a blanket, but was ignored each time. No one expects perfection, especially in a busy ER. But basic compassion, communication, and respect should still exist. People come to the emergency room scared, sick, in pain, and vulnerable. The way patients are treated matters just as much as the medical care itself. I genuinely hope this department improves, because no patient should leave feeling dismissed, ignored, or like they were a burden for simply needing medical help.

You get multiple opinions at one time and there's always someone with a new idea. Science is alive and well at Cedars Sinai. The staff is amazing. The nurses and the clinical partners work as a team. No one ever waits for the other one to do their job. They do their jobs together. It's very proficient and efficient. Even the cleaning people are friendly. They always have a smile on a good morning. I think whoever hires staff at Cedars deserves accolades for their ability to find the best of the best in every aspect of the hospital. Believe it or not I enjoyed the food. I more than often ordered the salmon and the sweet pea soup. I have been there numerous times to visit friends, neighbors, and a few family members. On the 20th of this month my son had a hernia surgery for the second time around at this hospital within 3 years apart. He has been here once before for the same procedure/surgery, but was seen by another doctor who had retired. My husband took him to the hospital around 8am and the check-in process was seamless, timeless, and effortless by the front desk. They took his vitals, signed some paperwork, and got to business. It was a laparoscopic surgery and anesthesia was required to give him 3 incisions to get where they needed to get into. The anesthesiologist did a flawless job and my son went to sleep within 60 seconds. They even played his favorite song by his favorite artist. Dr. Michael Robinson did a fantastic job by operating on him and my son speaks very highly of him, his work ethic, knowledge, professionalism, and kind demeanor. He was patient, pleasant, explained the pros & the cons and the rest is history. Nurses were constantly around my son making sure that he was doing well, taking good care of him by talking to him, and giving him solid food such as small sandwiches, chips, jello and vanilla pudding. In my opinion that is a lot of food for someone who had just had surgery. After the surgery, they took him to the recovery room and made sure that he was being supervised for 3 hours. They sent him home that same day, since it was an outpatient surgery with rules/instructions to follow, pain killers and wished him a safe & speedy recovery!! They have a cafeteria, vending machines, gift shop, plenty of parking spaces, lots of clean restrooms, including the surgery room. Hospital was SPOTLESS CLEAN!!! We would like to thank Dr. Michael Robinson, all the nurses, especially Suzanne & Minu for their caring, hospitable attitude, and last but not least St. Joseph Medical Hospital!! Thanks a BUNCH!

Finally done. I have never been happy with this practice. It's not the usual things like wait times…read morealways being long - I get it, things take time. It's not, that, which is annoying - it's everything else. The doctor will call you with results, but you never speak with them. They bypass a call and go straight to voicemail. (I asked about this once and was told they have no idea how to do that, but it's happened enough to know.) You will also never see your actual results/numbers, because there's a patient portal (Patient Fusion) that they ask you to sign up with, but there are no records, no messages are returned, and they don't even put in when you visited consistently. What's the point of having a medical scribe in the room or an EMR if no one uses it? I was referred to one specialist who twice cancelled my appointment and pushed it back months, and it took six weeks and two calls to get anyone at Premiere Medical to get me even a second name, because I was only given one option initially. I was seen this past December for two different things, leading to two incorrect medications being prescribed. One was a previous med that didn't work, the other had complications with other meds, and the pharmacist warned me about it (not my doctor). When I called to deal with this, it began the road to firing Premiere Medical. I left a message for the doctor with someone in the front office. Two weeks later, still with two prescriptions I could not use, I had not received a call back. When I called again, they told me there was no record of my previous message, and that I should have gotten the name of the person I spoke with because "you didn't speak with me." I was also told I had to make another appointment to talk to the doctor about any medication. Was this because my doctor was out that day? Not exactly. No doctor will talk to you at any time about a medication about an appointment, which also means there's no one covering anyone's service, which... feels like an impossibly low standard of care. The reason for this, my doctor told me at our next appointment, is that there are so many malpractice lawsuits that they need to take notes about any conversation. Why no one can take notes on a phone call, I have no idea. Again, it's not like there are any notes in the EMR/patient portal. Despite making that second appoint for the same issue/wrong prescriptions, one of my prescriptions was not filled. CVS said they couldn't fill it and that insurance wouldn't cover it. I called the office, left another message, and ultimately got a letter that CVS had contacted the doctor for more info and received nothing. So I called again today, was told my doctor was out for two weeks, and that despite it being something I have now spent countless calls and two appointments to deal with, the only solution is to book another appointment. Not here. Never again.

This building houses multiple medical facilities and doctors... as well as an Urgent Care on the ground floor. There is a large parking garage within the grouping of two additional medical buildings, as well as two hour street parking (although it's difficult to find a spot). The grounds are minimalistic but there are lovely little outdoor nooks with sculptures and water features. Just wish parking situation was better. We already pay so much for healthcare. Paying for parking is just an insult to me.

Visited for my wife's checkup recently and appreciated the care quality. Staff/Nurses/Doctors were quick, efficient and friendly. Service felt reliable with years of experience. It's easy to make appointments and you're called in promptly. Been a Kaiser member for about 10 years now and am satisfied with the overall system and this smaller location as a convenient backup or primary spot. One negative aspect is parking and they've stopped validating parking, Also, smaller facility might limit certain services compared to larger Kaiser hospitals/centers.

They have easy parking on the meters on the streets all the times I've gone around the later afternoons after getting off work. They are located on the 8th floor for check in. Then you go to the 9th floor for lab and pharmacy. The facility feels immaculately clean and the check in process is so easy and quick. I love this location and the doctors, nurses, and helpful staff in this facility.
