Hands down, one of the most gifted endodontists alive! Forever grateful to Dr. Gabreal and his team for completely changing how I feel about root canals. I was terrified going in, but their knowledge, precision, and care meant I wasn't even shaking and I always shake in the dental chair. I had tooth #30 done with tiny double canals, and the work is truly exceptional (see the images!) I mentioned my high sensitivity, and they actually listened and applied numbing gel before the anesthesia shots, then tested with ice to confirm I was numb before touching anything. Most dentists just start drilling and deal with the "ouch" after. Not here. They also used a bite block so I didn't have to hold my mouth open the whole time. Zero pain during, and no throbbing the next day like they warned about, just a little jaw tightness, which was the only discomfort of the entire experience. One thing I researched and want to pass on: the CT scan matters. Insurance won't cover it, but it gives a precise map of your canals instead of guessing. Worth every penny in such a delicate area. Dr. Gabreal and his whole team, including the assistant and front desk made me walk out completely at ease. The whole staff from front desk, to his second hand and doctor are pushin p and are all goats. My root canal that I got about 10 years ago starting hurting like death all of a sudden. So I was frantically looking for a specialist to help me. LAEndodontics thankfully took me the day of. Drs office has the most modern technology to carefully examine the tooth and even see it in 3D in order to repair the tooth, amazing. During my initial exam, the dr Shamtoub was kind enough to numb me because he understood how much pain I was in. Chris diligently explained all the price points and the quality of repair I would get. The front desk was so kind and patient. Dr even calls you the day after to follow up and ask how you are doing. There's a reason why this place has a perfect 5 star rating at the time I'm writing this. They took me for a last minute next day appointment for a root canal AND treated me on the same day as the consultation AND had me out the door in a couple of hours, all on Christmas Eve. Then Dr. Shamtoub personally called to check on me on Christmas morning. I've had lots of procedures and surgeries and haven't had that before. Came in for a root canal and the doctor was very thorough with what needed to be done on the tooth. I hate needles and I get very scared when I see them. He was in and out with the anesthesia and I didn't even feel it. He has the best hands for needles especially in areas like your mouth where everything is so tender and delicate. Root canal was smooth. Didn't feel any pain and was out in an hour. Took some X-rays and showed me what he did and even though teeth look like Elephants feet (to me they do), I am very happy with my results no pain during the root canal, let's hope I don't get any after. I made an appointment for a root canal treatment. After a one hour drive, when I arrived I was told by the front desk woman that it was only for a Consultation. Then after providing them with a copy of my Driver's License and Dental Insurance card, they insisted on obtaining my Social Security number as a pre-requisite for the consultation. What an insult! This is INVASION OF PRIVACY!!! NEVER has a Medical or Dental office in my entire life acted so unprofessionally! I declined services and I am glad I did. Finally getting my review up! A few weeks ago I saw Dr Shamtoub - he was amazing in his treatment of my tooth. I had to get a root canal re-treatment done through a crown. I was EXTREMELY nervous. Dr Shamtoub and his assistant Chris were both very patient with me and kind, as well as professional. Dr Shamtoub has a lot of attention to detail in his work and you can tell this is a clinic where they really care about what they do.
