I asked if they could refer me anywhere or where should I go and they said they had no idea. When I got the bill it was closer to $1,000 for them to take my symptoms and tell me they can't do anything for me.

I called at 6 am since my liquid stool wasn't a clear color for the colonoscopy and the nurse said run to the store and pick up a bottle of magnesium citrate. I asked her if I could drink a sprite since the sugar usually helps clean out my colon and she said no and I stated I would see what I could do. And apparently, she canceled my entire appt! Because when I showed up all ready to do my colonoscopy and Upper Gi they said I canceled it! I said can we do the upper Gi still, since the nurse gave my appt to someone else? And they asked Dr Samyuktha Ramavaram and she said that was fine. I pray that I don't have something serious wrong since I even went out this morning and bought a bottle of magnesium citrate and had a rough 2 days of not eating and at age of 67 I was all ready for it since I have a colon stricture narrowing of the colon and colitis since it showed up on my ct scans and she was checking to see if I have crohn's disease or cancer since I have ongoing infections. My insurance will pay for the pill cam and she refused since she claims a colonoscopy will show more. After 2 hours I wasn't feeling good after all that prep and not eating for 2 days and my ride was waiting for me and the nurse that I spoke to this morning (Sarah, blonde hair heavy set lady with glasses) came into my room and asked what I was doing? I said I am trying to sit up, I have to go to the bathroom since I drank all that prep last night and that bottle this morning. She yelled, "lay back down you're not going to the bathroom until the doctor comes in!" And I said to her, "do you want me to poop my pants, I do not have extra clothes!" She took me to the bathroom and told me off while I was trying to go to the bathroom. She said, "don't put this on me you're the one that called and said the liquid was brown and not clear so I canceled it! If you have so many problems here, why would you want to come back?" I couldn't even finish having loose liquid coming from rectum since she was yelling at me and being irrational and hostile. I ended up soiling my underwear. I told the other nurse that walked me out to my car after discharging myself, that the nurse Sarah was so rude to me and my stomach hurt worse after dealing with her verbal abuse. If you have an issue with the manner in which they do things, they put it on you. I don't believe any patient attending this place wanted to go to Doctors school, but if you don't constantly advocate for yourself, they will collect a check and do absolutely nothing but take tests and push papers. That's it. They frankly feel, and I In that moment, realized there is absolutely no working with this company. Some companies just don't care about their patients, and this is most definitely one of them. Do yourself a favor and book ANYWHERE else. You will not be happy here. Look at their reviews. I am not the only one. And I have witnesses that I never canceled my colonoscopy and never know who is on a speaker phone! Update : I spoke with the head charge nurse and she stated Sarah has prior write ups and they could have done a colonoscopy. But yet I was told they canceled my colonoscopy and upper GI when I arrived. I am in the process to make sure this doesn't happen again.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Pomilla Kumar for years now and we both really like her. She…read morealways has time to answer questions and I never feel like she is in a rush to move on to the next patient. The down side of that is it is not too uncommon for her to be running late. I don't get angry about it, though, because I know the reason for that is that she will NOT rush ANY visit WITH ANY patient. Over the course of the day enough people think of additional questions that keeps her busy answering and she just runs behind. I would rather have to wait longer than normal and have her undivided attention for as long as I need it when I do see her. She has never failed to meet that expectation which is why we have been seeing her for over 20 years now I would say. Despite how many patients she might see over the course of a day/week/or month it never ceases to amaze me how she always remembers bits and pieces of what I do for a living and always asks about my wife. Keep in mind that I typically only see her maybe 2-3 times/year. She must have an excellent memory. We feel fortunate to have her as our primary care physician. By and large I would say that all the staff that I have ever dealt with were equally courteous and kind as Dr. Kumar is. I always feel like I am treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness.

Dr. Pyevich needs to retire. My special needs daughter seen him 20 years ago and recently went back…read moreand his unconcerned attitude was terrible. He made unprofessional statements, like "yeah, I can see swelling. So, it's been 8 months deal with it and how do you know if it hurts?" He even yelled at my daughter and told her she's not in pain. And he stated he seen her biopsy records from the doctor that performed the surgery, in which I never signed a medical records release form for him to receive it! And he tried telling me it was cancerous when the surgeon said it wasn't otherwise he would of had to remove the little toe. Just seemed he wanted to argue about it. I stated look, I am here because of her foot issue and I would like an MRI test on her nerves, as she has been experiencing swelling, numbness, tingling and pain in her foot since she had moles removed. The other doctor referred us to a neurologist and he took it upon himself to call the office and cancel my appointment and set her up on a different day to have a EMG test. Which she's special needs and that test requires needles inserted in muscles and she would have to be sedated. He did not have my consent or authorization to do that either. We will not be back.
