Following the submission of my referral, I received a text message a week later stating that my records were under review and that I would receive a follow-up call to schedule an appointment. That call never came. When I followed up myself, I was informed that scheduling could not proceed without the complete records from a sleep study conducted over two decades ago. This requirement is not only unreasonable but also profoundly out of touch with the realities of long-term medical care. In the 20+ years since I received my CPAP, not a single provider--whether physician, home health company, or insurance--has required those records, or EVEN asked to check the machine. Expecting a patient to retrieve documentation from a defunct sleep center or from physicians whose practices have changed hands and locations multiple times, especially from an era when electronic medical records were barely in use, reflects a disturbing lack of flexibility and common sense. This experience demonstrated a clear failure in communication, accountability, and patient-centered care. I would strongly advise others to seek alternatives.

It's ironic, because when I brought up her attitude to her she said she was shocked because she is the director and nobody had ever complained to her before. The medical technician staff made me go to the bathroom in a cup and didn't verify all of the reasons why I was there so they didn't tell me that I needed to provide two samples, one for a protein check and another for a pre-employment drug screen, so after I emptied my bladder and came out of the restroom I made a comment that it was strange that I was allowed to flush after because you typically can't when taking a drug test, the technician said that she didn't know that I needed to have a drug screen done and that I would have to give another urine sample. Since I had emptied my bladder thy suggested that I wait in the waiting room for 2 hours until I could go again. I asked if they could give me a few glasses of water and the technician said I could have some water and she gave me water from their dispenser and said I could have up to five glasses that size of water. Dice I was moving into a new home I needed to get back so I drank the water as directed, had my physical and then gave another urine sample. By the way, the drug screen came back negative but too diluted so I had to have another one done. At least I'm not paying for them buy I don't think my employer should have to either. While having my eyes checked another woman in the back came out and announced that she was "so (expletive that starts with an "f" and ends in "ing") mad". Now I swear like a sailor, but I don't think that type of language is appropriate in the workplace. All in all, my experience here was less than pleasant and I will not be returning!

I hurt my knee at work 2 months ago. My work took me to this place to be treated. They treated my knee as a sprain. Chelli ordered x-rays to be done and then an MRI because she found a small blip on the xray. So I get my MRI done and then have an appointment with Chelli to go over the results. She stood in the exam room and flat out told me that she doesn't know how to read the MRI results and then she say there is a cartilaginous defect in my knee that was the result of a childhood defect or something similar. She told me to go see a doctor to get these looked at and so I did. The doctor I went too was a knee specialist who said to me, what more then likely what happened was a partial dislocation of the knee cap which slid and hit some cartilage and knocked it loose. Now because of this shitty doctor's opinion, work comp is not going to pay for the knee scope. I do not recommend going to see this doctor and no chance in hell I will be going back.

When I arrived to their walk in clinic I was told that I couldn't see anyone because they had all gone to lunch and I needed to come back. When I came back for my test that Genesis performed, they some how sent my test out for results without the seal that I dated & initialed. I'm not sure how that could've happened unless the lab tech removed the seal when I left. This resulted in me having to go and re-take the test for my new job causing a delayed job start date & much inconvenience. Upon finding out about Genesis carelessness, I asked my new employer to send me to a different lab & medical facility in my area to retake the test since Genesis occupational located in Davenport IA. couldn't do things right and showed carelessness with actions that are untrustworthy. I'm glad that I went to a different walk in medical center because Concentra made it much easier and got things done right the first time. If I could give Genesis located at 1520 W. 53rd Street, Davenport Ia. a zero rating that's what I would do. They don't deserve a star at because they're not!

They didn't take any blood samples, chest x-rays, anything that would help in telling them what was wrong with me. Monday went to the ER, blood sample, chest x-ray told them I had pneumonia in the right lung. Needless to say I won't be going back to Genesis Convenient Care.
