I came here to process a portrait photo and the 8 inch by 10 inch print came out to be ($7.69) after a 30 minute wait. The photo print quality is good but it was not printed on glossy photo paper, rather a lusterless semi thick paper. The quality here is a bit better than CVS prints but I would say they are both economy quality. Regular photo prints costs ($29) for 100 photos. This photo print shop also does passport photos. The photographer was able to show me the photo after it was taken and I never had an issue with the photos for passport submission. I've had my passport photos taken here twice so I would recommend them for that purpose. read more

You just need to tell the photographer what type of passport the photo will be used for, he adjusts your hair and angle, and voila! Within 10 mins you walk away with two copies for $8. It was super quick and easy and such a smooth process. Also, this is Flushing -- so if you are picky or very specific, your process won't be as smooth -- nobody has time for that. I've only used their services for passport photos and they are 5+ stars. My first time was a few years ago and no issues whatsoever. Came here yesterday with my boyfriend because he needed passport photos. We went in around 10AM on a Saturday morning and there were 2 other people getting their passport photos taken. We waited not even 5 minutes and then it was my boyfriend's turn. The photographer positioned him and took the photos, asked if the photos came out to my boyfriend's liking and went to print the photos. Took maybe 5 minutes max to print 2 photos and only cost my boyfriend $8. Total visit took 10 minutes probably and that was with a minor wait! Oh, and as others have mentioned, they speak great English so don't fret about not being able to communicate. About an hour later, my boyfriend realized he actually needed a total of THREE photos, not two. We went back in a little after 11AM, not knowing if the photographer still had copies of the original. He told the photographer he was in an hour ago and forgot he needed one more. The photographer told him that's fine, the wait would be 3 minutes and would cost an additional $4 for another two photos. I thought he was going to charge my boyfriend $8 for another 2 (they only come in pairs I guess) but if you buy 4 it only cost you $12. I thought that was nice of the photographer. Waited the 3 minutes, printed the additional two photos and we were on our way. Definitely come to this place for passport photos! I needed passport photos and this place was a big help and fast too! First, I needed photos for myself. For 4 photos, it will cost you $12. They are fast and professional. The lady taking my pic was funny. I had to have my eyebrows exposed and she really fretted with my bangs for a long time to make it perfect. Thanks lady for caring so much and yes I need a haircut! I also needed photos for a friend. They were able to take his photo, photoshop it without the shadows and made it into good quality passport photos. But this service isn't cheap. Two photos for $20 and $3 for each additional 2 photos. But, I have to say, they came through and helped me accomplish my goal and got me out of there in an hour. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the photos and service. My brother needed a professional headshot, and we came on a Sunday afternoon. There was a long line, BUT you're in and out within 10 minutes (15 or less if you want digital copies emailed to you). The photographer will show you the photo and ask if you like it or not. He helped my brother position his head and shoulders before taking the shot. We got 2 passport-sized photos for $8. For $10, they will email you 2 digital photos with different dimensions: 5184 x 3456 px (96 PPI) and 600 x 600 px (300 PPI). Unprofessional. Called them to ask about pricing for digital enlargements and their response was "we don't discuss the prices over the phone." Fine, so I showed up in person. Big sign posted on the wall says that it costs 27 cents each for 100 prints. But then, once the lady saw that they were wedding photos, she wanted to charge me for 50 cents a print. Mind you, I am not asking for any special retouching of the photos. I am just asking to have them printed on 4 x 6 glossy paper. I also have the rights to these photos. I refused and took my photos across the street to Flushing Photo Center, and they happily printed them at high quality for 27 cents each and also gave me 2 free 8 x 10 enlargements. The pricing of your photo prints should not be discriminated against simply by your content. Please take your business elsewhere. read more

I came here to get my passport picture taken since the place I was planning to go was closed. This store is next to Starbucks by the Flushing Main Street Library. They're really busy but overall, I didn't need to wait for more than 10minutes. You go in, and tell the employee you're taking a passport picture and you line up to get the picture taken. The photographer did a good job with my picture and I'm pleased with how it turned out. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. He adjusted my hair and told me to look more relaxed (lol) and lower my shoulders, the good stuff. I've had my passport pictures taken at a Walgreens before and compared to them, I'd rather come here even if it's a bit far out. The passport pictures were 2/$8 which I thought was an average price you usually pay. I think it is cash only. read more

Found this place thru Yelp after waiting 15 mins at another and having them literally pretend I didn't exist. But Yelp to the rescue again! This place was awesome. Came in, said passport photos and the woman was super friendly. Sat me down right away, adjusted my clothing and posture for the best pic, and snapped away. Whole process took 3 minutes and then another 3 for it to get developed. Best of all, was 2 bucks cheaper than the other place. Highly recommended over that other place. Last time I came, I needed passport and full body photos. Unfortunately they do not take full body photos. However, the guy who took the passport ones was very patient and nice. It was a slow day on a friday around lunch time and I got the photos taken right away. I have been here at times were the place is packed and getting your photos taken and printed may take a little longer. I paid $17 for 2 passport size photos and they sent me the original and 2X2 files to my e-mail. If you only need the photos then it would cost you $8. I'm not sure if this is cheap or not but they are always pretty efficient so thats why I always come here. read more

I was charged $16 to make 4 (5x7) copies of a photo. They said the photos would not be ready for 2 hours. When I picked up the copies, there were very noticeable white streak marks all over the photos (not to mention the dull color quality in general). They claimed this was because there were finger prints on the original I provided them, which they showed me was only noticeable when held at a certain angle. When I asked why they didn't take the time to wipe off the fingerprints, they said they don't make any changes to what the customer provides. This was extremely annoying but what was worse was the white spot on one of the copies where there was no fingerprints. Unfortunately I did not notice this until I had already walked out of the store. Advance Photo Printing was expensive, which would've been acceptable if it was not for the poor quality product and poor customer service. Absolutely do not recommend this place. read more

This place is ridiculous! I went there to print a 8x10 portrait photo. The girl at the front ask me if I want fix the picture and purchase the frame, I said no I only need the picture print out. She said the price will be $7.64 in total. When I looking for changes, there is a 40-50s woman came from the back looking at my picture and said this is not $7.64, and turn around to the cash register and tell me the total will be $49.89!!! I ask her what makes it to cost $49.89 for one picture!!! She the woman said this is how much for a 11x14 picture! I tell her I need 8x10 not 11x14, but even 11x14 is not going to cost almost $50 for one picture! She doesn't answer me, just tell the girl to charge me $10, now she change the price to $10 dollar, and the girl ask me for $1 dollar extra for tax?! I left and went to Walgreens and they only cost me $3.99! First, the tax is not $1 even, second, I never heard a 8x10 picture will cost $50! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! read more

Great experience. I was not able to get my photos done during the weekdays, I wanted to find a photo place besides Target or pharmacy and it was the only place opened on Sunday. I paid $12 for four 2*2 photo ($10 for 2). Not sure if its overcharged but I'm happy that the photo came out pretty well in 5 minutes. read more

I do not recommend their business. They provide poor quality results, they're unprofessional, and they're overpriced. Advanced Photo Imaging is a terrible business. I went there to make 4 copies of a photo. I was told the first copy was $7 and each copy after that was $3. So I paid a total of $16 upfront and was told to pick them up 2 hours later. I didn't expect to have to wait this long but I agreed. When I picked the photos up, I noticed the color quality of the copies were extremely dull AND they had obvious, white casts in random areas. When I pointed out the white casts, an employee examined the original and said she could fix it. She then wiped the photos with some white glove but that made no difference in removing the white casts. She then showed me that when held at one specific angle, the original had some fingerprints and this caused the white casts on the copies. When I asked why the finger prints weren't wiped clean, she rudely informed me it wasn't their responsibility! It doesn't end there. After I came home, I noticed there was a small but noticeable white spot on a black background on one of the copies- where the copier failed to deposit ink. If I lived closer I would've returned to the store to see what explanation they'd come up for this. If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would. read more

A lady who snaps your photo and tells you which angle to lean at, how much to smile, how much not to smile, fixes your cowlick. It's a chore when you need it done. Get it done. I complimented her on how much effort she put into snapping my photo. She said "I want everyone's passport photo to look good." The only thing I am comparing it to, was that I stopped by a CVS-- $8.99 for 2 passport photos, or $6.99 with a printed coupon. And if I needed 2 more photos (for visa applications), add $8.99. normally I only give good comments. However, I didt really have a good experience in this shop. After the first shot, it didnt come out nice, so I asked the lady if she could take it again, and she asked me why and said I should fix up myself first before she took the shot. I fixed my hair but the lady didnt seems nice to wait. She asked me to lower my left shoulder and raised my right side coz it didnt look balance, so i followed her instruction. However, the picture came out funny with my post, and my hair was a little messy. I didnt even want to request the 3rd shot. When I was waiting for the picture, I saw the sign saying, "without glasses and earrings are the best". The lady didnt inform me this part otherwise I would have taken off my earrings. I have no clue if earrings are allowed in passport pic. Since I need 6 and I paid $15, I dont want to spend more money to fix my hair, look nice and take the pics again. If the lady is professional enough, she should have informed me. My advice is, if you want cheap photos, go for her, otherwise, if you asked me if I would recommend its good service, I will say NO. read more

I went to cvs for a passport picture and they messed up the specifications and they really didn't know how to take pictures. So I decided to drive out here and though traffic and parking was quite impossible, I'm glad I did it. The lady made sure my hair and looked the best and even instructed me what pose made me look the best. It only took few seconds and voila! I was out in a flash, and then back in again. They don't except credit cards so I needed to run to an ATM. I need to renew my passport, preferably before they jack up the renewal prices on Jul 13, 2010 so I was looking for a place that's quick. Thanks to Ally Z. for reviewing this place, I decided to check it out for myself. I went in and told them I needed passport photos. They asked American or Chinese. For the American passport application, you only need 2 photos, so they didn't even mention the option of getting 4 for $11. There's a mirrored wall when you enter, so they'll give you a few minutes to check yourself, and there's also a mirror directly in front of where you'll be seating, so you can check yourself again. I was happy with my first shot, but it looks like you can ask them to take it over again if you don't like it. I paid $7 for my 2 photos, but when I asked for a receipt, the total on the receipt said $11. It's probably not an under-the-table pricing, but I did speak Chinese to them, so I don't know if they make non-Chinese speakers buy 4 pictures. read more

I would have given it a 5-stars if we were acknowledged after entering the store. Because some of the customers were waiting to pay, some were in line for other services and the layout/set up of the store wasn't really clear as the passport photo area was towards the middle of the store (I believe at the back was another store) and the aisle was narrow. Perhaps clearer signs could be provided (like wait here for passport photos, etc.). But once it was our turn, the photographer asked my girls to sit on the chair (one by one of course) and told them how to sit, smile and where to look. The photographer showed me the shots before printing them and the photos came out sharp and clear, and they were good shots of my girls too. The price was clearly posted on the wall. We paid $12 for 4 passport photos ($8 for 2). You can also pay $10 for a digital copy which I thought was a bit pricey. We were in and out in less than 10 mins. Would recommend. read more

Very helpful and the photographer was very professional in how you should pose for your passport picture. It was very quick as I only waited 5 minutes or less for my pictures and left.
