She apologized and said the young man should have called me back. This call center is scheduling appts for a multitude of YNNH facilities. The nearest opening for me is in New Haven. The procedures themselves were relatively simple and painless, just slight temporary discomfort. Throughout all of my appointments and follow up check ups the nurses, PAs, assistants all said everything looked great. I was somewhat happy with the results. Some of the discoloration did not go away as they indicated but they said I could receive more injections of some sort. Then I went in for the three month follow up appointment. A new PA examined my legs and told me that both veins opened up and the entire process needed to be done again. Skeptically I asked why is this being stated today when a month ago everything looked great. "Sometimes this happens". This was never explained to me previously. At that moment I lost all trust and confidence in this practice. A year later the pain in one of my legs is worse than it ever was before the procedures. In hindsight I never should have minimally considered other medical groups. If I decide to seek further treatment I will do so at another facility.

Worst experience I have ever had at a medical facility, including the time I almost had my leg…read moreamputated. With the exception of one nurse who walked me to the 2nd of 3 different buildings(!) I had to go to to get 1 MRI, I did not encounter a single worker who was not smug, condescending and inconsiderate. Every request was phrased as a demand, every decision made for me. When I apologized to the MRI tech for being anxious to get off the table at the end of the test, I said "I'm sorry, but my ankle with the metal plate and screws in it was killing me from holding it in that position." Her response "Thats something you should have told me." To which I reminded her "Actually, I believe my exact words before that last set of test was 'I'm in a lot of pain from holding this position." I was met with complete silence. Now, Yale-New Haven is obviously a great hospital. And I'm sure that for actual patient care, this is where you want to be. But if you're just having some tests done: go literally anywhere else.

My gps told me that i arrived but i only saw signs for stores. I passed that entrance and turned into the brick community after. When i took a right in that lot it brought me around towards the stores. I saw the Griffin Hospital sign on my left and turned into the building. The office is right on the 1st floor to the left, as soon as i came in. The office was very cleaning tranquil with a zen aestetic. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Sherri my MRI tech was an absolute God send! She was very pleasant and understanding to my claustrophobia and anxiety. She was very thorough with gathering details into my history and reason for my visit. She explained the procedure in detail so I knew what to expect. She gave me several options to assist with my fears. I chose to have lavender stickers and to listen to music. She allowed me to pick what I wanted to listen to as well. The defecography is a special MRI that requires some challenging requirements. Sherri talked me through each step, constantly checking to see if I was okay. She made something so uncomfortable feel like a breeze. I am so happy that I switched my appointment to this facility. This was the best MRI I've ever had in my 47yrs on earth! I highly recommend this location and I will definitely be back again.

I looked around for MRI appts and found Ivy Brook. It was the best experience I've ever had for my dozen or so brain MRIs. My tech, Nicole, was considerate, empathetic and experienced. She's made the reams of paperwork a breeze and the entire process very pleasant. My MRI required contrast and unlike other providers, they didn't start an IV until it was necessary and when it was they used a smaller needle, with me barely feeling anything. Professionals like Nicole coupled with a brand new facility make this my preferred MRI center. Thanks to the Staff for being so warm!

Had…read moreto have the use of their services several times in the past three months, and really dreaded the visit. Parking was fine, free, and ample. Good start. On a hinky intersection so be careful getting there. Staff was not the most welcoming, but passable, despite the sliding glass (aka unfriendly) border wall separating them from us. The front desk/wall process did not take long once you got thru. Wich can take awhile. Typical depressing wall decor and paint job. But in each case the staff seemed to be on top of things, and didn't make you wait more than 15 minutes. Maybe it was just my timing. Inside the offices, staff were nice, accommodating, pleasant, and didn't waste your time. If you need to use the rest room, they'll give you the jailer's key that get yous into the bathroom in the hallway (which is otherwise locked).

The office was packed , however the checkin process was fairly fast, considering the number of people ahead of me. I was not taken in until one hour after my appointment. The staff notified me that they we're running behind. When I finally got my test, the staff was friendly. The office and equipment seemed a little old, but everything worked out.
