I was referred because of a bump on my nose but I also had a bump on my finger. She numbed them, did the tissue removal and sent samples in for biopsy. These areas healed very well and you can't see where it was done. She also did a check for any skin concerns and, thankfully, did not find any others. She was very knowledgeable and did excellent work. I would be very happy to see her for my check ups.

I had all my papers in order and was taken to the back of the building just before my actual appointment time. I sat and waited, and waited, and waited. People walked past, and I asked several times if I was in the right place, to which I was consistently told, 'yes, someone will get around to calling you' or something to that effect. Again, I felt chastised. When it was 30 minutes past my appointment time, I went back to the front desk. They got excited and called someone who appeared to say, we're ready for you now. If this were a doctor that has on call to the local trauma center, and might be called away for an emergency, I might be more forgiving, however when they're dermatologists and when they insist I be early for my appointment, I expect to be seen on time. I believe they saw that I have gray hair and assumed that I had plenty of free time to sit and wait. I have a full time business, I volunteer for various organizations around town, and I have three grandchildren who all take up my time.

The lab report stated that one area was impetiganized actinic keratosis, in other words bacteria. I was not given an antibiotic for the bacteria in the site and after several phone calls, I was told that it was probably taken care of, PROBABLY taken care of when they used the liquid nitrogen. Never did I get to talk to the assistant that performed the biopsy and the liquid nitrogen. I will never trust this business again and I certainly will spread the word about my experience.

She and her MA carefully observed and charted all of my moles. I have had several skin cancers and have to get regular checks. Samantha and her MA, Cherish, made me feel at ease right away. North Bend Medical Center screens all patients at the door and does temperature checks. They practice excellent COVID-19 sanitation and distancing upon check-in. Samantha Deckers office is on the third floor and honestly it has more of a spa feeling than a doctors office. The rooms are immaculate and freshly sanitized. The gowns and linens were pristine. The floors were sparking clean. I am a germaphobe so I notice the details especially during the pandemic. Samantha is the first medical professional I have seen in over a year but I was instantly at ease. All of the staff is vaccinated and that was reassuring. Next I am going to get some cosmetic fillers done. I also got started on their top of the line sunscreen, vitamin C serum and skincare routine. I highly recommend Samantha Decker, you will love her!

Outstanding service…read more I have been coming here for multiple appointments and have found each visit very pleasant. (Well, as pleasant as any trip to the dermatologist can be, lol.) When I call for an appointment I am greeted by a scheduling person that upbeat, verifies my info, and is accommodating. At the Coos Bay office, they (I was helped by the receptionist, Kari) double checked my info. Very friendly. (My last visit they were training a second receptionist to help with overflow.) The waiting area is large, neat and clean. As far as care, I've been helped by PA Megan Smith. She is extremely competent and efficient, and knowledgeable. Her assistant, Heather, is equally friendly going over your file and the reason for your visit. I would highly recommend this place!
