Had an exam, biopsy on a suspicious area, received results and they had me come in for Liquid nitrogen and sent me home. The lab report stated that one area was impetiganized actinic keratosis, in other words bacteria. I was not given an antibiotic for the bacteria in the site and after several phone calls, I was told that it was probably taken care of, PROBABLY taken care of when they used the liquid nitrogen. Never did I get to talk to the assistant that performed the biopsy and the liquid nitrogen. I will never trust this business again and I certainly will spread the word about my experience. read more

Treated very poorly after 10 years a patient switched my scheduled provider more than once

My husband is a long time patient here, regular visits for skin cancer on his head. (Bald) Some are burned off each visit. These last few days there has been a major flare up, I applied prescription cream for it but it continues to become red and open sores inflamed. When nothing I did helped and the entire top of his head was involved I called this office to see if he could be seen. I was told November 21 and when I thoroughly explained my concerns I was told to take him to Urgent care. Finally after several calls they agreed to work him in. I guess it takes persistence but I do appreciate them getting him in. read more

(5) stars clean building inside and out (5) stars plenty of parking in back of building one entrance only you have to walk up to front door from the driveway so be careful not to get hit by cars no side or front parking (5) stars employees were all very friendly except a prickly red head (5) stars plenty of seating options (5) stars we were brought in and out in a timely manner (5) stars for the most part the secretary was polite but turned her back on me when I asked questions for my mom and dialed a person on the phone another girl came up and said sorry can I helped you (5) stars dr griffin mansell was kind and gentle with my mom (5) stars cristy was awesome funny and let my mom know the steps she was taking pics et cetra (5) stars organization and communication of the office people skills So this red head that brought my mom to a room she was not nice at ..all kind of snooty maybe having a bad day idk we will see when we go back Like mentioned there's only One way in and out on NE 6-th street idk if it's just the time that we came in but it's a pretty peaceful experience all modern feel I think what impresses me is they seem to know there skin issues well (maybe just who we saw) but if you look at other reviews there so far positive Thank you for taking good care of my mom during this scary time Like mentioned from someone else they send there labs to rose burgh so it does take (2)-weeks and yes it can be anxious but that's normal since there is no lab here but I don't see that as a negative Again thank you (most of you) guys rock! read more

Very, very dissatisfied with Advanced Skin Center. I had an appointment (originally) for September 23, 2024. I was contacted on September 3, 2024, at 3:55 PM, and was told that my appointment for the 23rd had would have to be moved to the 6th, which I assumed was October 6, 2024. Why would anyone expect an appointment would be moved to an earlier date? When I received a text message to confirm, and saw the 6th, I simply affirmed. It did not become apparent to me until last Friday of my miss-understanding. Attempting to make a new appointment today and being told you are now not taking any new patients really concerns me. Makes absolutely no sense and I know you will do nothing about it. Pretty shoddy wat to run any kind of business, and in particular a Health Care. My option was Roseburg - well, maybe, just maybe, since you all are a part, your rep could have suggested making an appointment for me there - especially since you all are all one. You obviously do not know how difficult it can be to get through to make an appointment. read more

Kind caring staff . Excellent care for skin issues and treatment for all kinds of skin issues including cancers.

My experiences at Advanced Skin Center will hopefully serve as a warning to you. In the last year I have had stitches overlooked and left in my leg, only to rip them later that day after I got home. The "tech" they had sent in to remove them never removed them all. He never even verified what number I had put in from my record. This caused an infection that lasted 5 months and left me with an open wound for the same time. They refused to admit responsibility and even kept billing my insurance for their mistakes. Today when I arrived for an appointment I noticed the parking lot full of elderly people with bandages waiting. I went to check in and saw an over packed waiting room with much the same as outside. I waited over an hour for my appointment. It turns out that they had crammed so many appointments in one day that all the people could not fit in the building. Patients with appointments for biopsies were told to wait outside in the parking lot once their samples had been taken, when the results would come in from the onsite pathology, the patients were then called back inside for treatment. The majority of these patients were elderly, the lot was unsecured and dangerously overcrowded. read more

Awful place! I scheduled an appointment 4.5 months ago (soonest they could fit me in) because they are listed as a provider with my insurance. I talked to them 3 times to make sure they had my insurance info. Then at my appointment today they tell me they can't verify my insurance and I'll have to pay cash. So of course, I went home and logged in to my Aetna members portal and the info and ID card I provided was correct! My insurance is active, so they turned me away after a 4 month wait FOR NO REASON!! I would never go back to such a poorly run place, what an awful experience and incompetent staff. Actually kinda glad I won't be getting services from such a shady "clinic" style office. BEWARE! Not a good "Health Care" provider. read more

My nurse practitioner Jacqueline Loner is the best. She is very patient and explains everything clearly. She does not rush through her exam and listens to all my concerns. I had a skin cancer removed by her. It took eight stitches and after six months I can barely see a scar. The staff is excellent. Always cheerful and helpful. She is the best dermatologist I have ever gone too. read more

Caring, professional staff that did a good job removing some skin cancer for me. The Grants Pass clinic is a satellite of their Roseburg facility, where the lab work gets sent to be done. This can delay the lab results when you're needing them quickly, the only reason they didn't get five stars rating from me. All in all a good place run by very capable people. Scheduling and billing was no hassle. They do well, considering I was there in the times of Covid19, which they take good precautions for. read more
