Dr. Lund is probably the most unethical and unprofessional doctor I've encountered in a while. I…read morehope no one treats him like how he treats patients that are not a good source of revenue for him (ie surgery). After asking for all my health records, he made me wait 10 days in pain, for an appointment (which is fine, I agreed to wait so not his fault at all). Literally 2 minutes before my appointment as I'm driving in, he makes his front desk call me and say he cannot see me. He saw my charts probably just then, realized that I had a steroid shot so he probably could not do surgery, so said I need to wait 6 weeks and go back to my doctor that gave me the shot originally. Or else I can see another doctor at his practice! If it is a medical reason he cannot see me for 6 weeks after my shot, then I should not be able to see anyone else either! If it's not a medical reason why he cannot see me, then what changed in 10 days? I asked the front desk why am I being told literally 2 minutes before my appointment that he doesn't want to see me. He had complete disregard for my time, and shows his character on how he treats people. I would avoid these doctors that have the God syndrome that they can treat people anyway they like because they are above everyone else.

First off I have to apologize to Dr. Lund as I have never met you; not out of lack of trying…read more However, I would like to share my experiences in dealing with your office staff and there is no way to review the Plano Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Spine Center (www.posmc.com) Approximately one month ago I attempted to make an appointment with the plano location and was told that Dr. Lund and Dr. Smith both do not see new patients without reviewing past medical records first. I informed this person that they are approximately 250 miles away and from 2002-2003. I asked for a referral that may see me (since I needed help then) without needing past records. They gave me three - I called them all and took the first appointment available, however this Doc (a.k.a. quack) thought me a waste of time and was zero help. So, with the understanding that if I wanted to visit posmc I needed to get medical records. So I went to work... almost five weeks worth of work to get the records to me. Did I forget to mention that I needed to see someone five weeks ago and have been in pain and limited use of limb? I call today to schedule an appointment. No mention of needing medical records, so I asked if something had changed. Quite rude as if I had interrupted her day; 'Sir, unless you are on Medicare/Medicaid we do not require records'. Wow, what a surprise! Just to verify we were on the same page I explained what I had gone through and want to make sure there are no further hiccups so I can get needed medical care. We schedule the appointment, she takes my info and then asks for only the group # and ID #. Explain no problem, I have it just not with me. She says she will book it and I can call back with those two pieces of info and we will be good to go. I get it and call back 5 minutes later and another ("very friendly") lady answers and says I also need the exact name of plan printed on the card (which I didn't have with me), the zip code listed on the card AND the exact co-pay. I asked if this was necessary at this point as I didn't have the info and have never been asked for that much info in the past... EVER! She of course says "yes, we need it now unless you want to be sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes when you get here". Again, Dr. Lund... sorry this has to go on your listing, but maybe it will help influence some change internally for your company. --- FYI... my background is in sales/client service, business ownership and my wife also has extensive background in medical facility operations; just so you know I know how it is supposed to go :).

They want 100% of what they think is the patient cost up front or they refuse to do surgery. They wait until 14 hourse before surgery to demand money that you may not even owe after it is processed by insurance. That is a poor way to treat patients. I will gladly see someone else with better patient treatment.

( does that sound wrong to anyone else?since i walked into her office with xrays showing the broken bone.) she sent me back to work. after it was determined therapy was making it worse. I got a second opinion. at that point she determined. There was nothing further she. ( Dr Grosser decided she could do nothing more for me. Even though her cohort the second Dr also said it needed surgery. Dr Grossers nurse told me she doesnt appreciate being questioned. At that point it took me four months to find a Dr out of town to do my surgery. Because of the Drs being not willing to go against Dr Grossers opinion and reputation. So needless to say not only would I never go back to Dr Dawn Grosser but would tell anyone who is considering seeing her to do your research..before doing so.
