My husband and I got stuck on the freeway when our car started to overheat. We called AAA and this is the company that picked us up. After we where on our way and after the driver when the wrong way and stopped at a gas station to look at our car and tell us what he thought was wrong with it? We didn't ask the tow truck operator to diagnose the car, this was just weird. He said I should use the restrooms or get a snack if I wanted. Also weird. How long would this tow take? We weren't that far from home when we broke down. Once we where finally headed in the right direction, the tow truck operator finally told us that he would only accept cash. This was not what AAA dispatch told us, and it was dishonest that he didn't tell us before hooking our car up. My husband called AAA, and they said we should just pay them in cash even thought that wasn't there contract with the tow company. The tow company was contacted to accept credit cards. So we payed him! Cash! Then asked for a receipt. He seemed angered by this request. Then we waited! He didn't unhook our car and leave for over an hour after we had arrived home and payed him in cash! He just sat there in his truck staring at his phone. Probable because my husband complained to AAA about the tow being cash only! So he basically held our car hostage for an hour. Our car breaking down was a lot more stressful than it needed to be. The whole ordeal was 3 1/2 hours long. He finally unhooked our car and left at about 1:30am. You would think AAA would protect you from scary tow truck scams, but they don't! read more

This company is a joke, needed my car towed to get repaired and when I called my insurance company they dispatched Advance Towing, my insurance said from my address to the repair address was 33 miles. I told my insurance company it wasn't, that looking up on a computer it actually shows my address further down the street, I also told them the street we could take is faster then the freeway and less miles. My insurance said just go over it with the tow company when they get there. I waited over an hr when they got here the guy loaded my car and said I needed to pay $104 which was may rate at 33 miles, I told him it wasn't that distance and there was a shorter distance taking the street instead of the freeway which diesel trucks take all the time. He called his manager and I explained the situation manager said I didn't know what I was talking about and I had to pay $104, I said no I'll pay for actual mileage and nothing more he said I had it wrong again and was gonna keep going until I interrupted him and said you have no clue what's going on, told driver drop my car and get out of here. So not only did this JOKE of a company not get paid they wasted time and gas just to lose a job. If I could give 0 starts I would. First time I had an issue with a tow company and I have dealt with a lot of them before. read more

This place is a joke. I needed my vehicle towed from my home to the dealership, so, I call my insurance company and they set me up with this company. I call to follow up to see if my vehicle has been picked up, the receptionist must hate her job because she answered all my questions with aggression and attitude - I'm already having a shitty day and I didn't need this women giving me a hard time - I let her know I didn't appreciate her attitude and I guess she didn't like that because she ignored my complaint and automatically put me on hold, she came back on and said "ok you're all set", but I wasn't willing to let it go, I asked for a manager. RAYMOND, who got on the phone (who is actually the owner) interrupted me while I was explaining the situation and told me to "be quiet!" Over and over. I ended up telling Raymond- (who OWNS the company) to cancel my tow and learn how to handle a customer complaint and not tell them to "Be quiet!" - Also - She, the receptionist claimed none of the info (where my keys would be, where I was, where the car was parked) was in the report Geico sent but I called Gieco after and they confirmed the report had ALL the info, seems the receptionist was just fucking lazy. Overall, this company is terrible and would advise you to stay clear away. read more

Last night around 7 pm, my car wouldn't start, called AAA for tow service, Don from Advance Towing (Norco) was dispatched to help me. He was super polite, asked me what was the problem, told him I think the starter has died. He said he would perform some quick fix hoping it would solve the problem, he proceed to give my car a jump to make sure the battery performs well, didn't work, tapped on the starter with a small hammer to see if it knock loose a jammed gear, didn't work, he then told me it has to be towed. I really appreciate he did everything he could to make sure towing was the only way to go. His willingness to help is something we don't see very often now-a-days, such a super great guy. my brothers car was wrongfully repossessed and it ended up at this towing place and they STOLE his personal belongings. they went through his car which i know they have to empty it out but you're not supposed to take their stuff. the customer service was trash the lady working left after giving him his stuff and there was still a whole line behind us of people waiting to get their cars. they were rude and were rushing and didn't stay for us to ask any questions. we waited for 20 mins for someone to come back upfront and they didn't. how could they hire such dishonest people. who steals from a stranger? i wouldn't even had put one star but i had to, to be able to post this to warn all of you to stay away from this company read more

I recently picked up my car from the Ford dealership in Norco and not 5 minutes after leaving my car died at an intersection on busy Parkridge Avenue. Not only was I livid but I was also scared because my stalled car was sitting at a green light and multiple cars came up behind, honked, made gestures, and finally went around. I called AAA and they did a rush dispatch to help me out. Scott was the driver and he was WONDERFUL!! I was really scared for his safety as he was loading my car as the cars were still driving fast on both sides of the road and I was very worried that one would slam into him. He gave me a ride back to the dealership, safely unloaded my car, and came to say good-bye before he left. He knew how upset and mad I was about the whole situation and cared enough to check in before he left. I hope AAA will always send Scott out if I ever need to be towed again! read more

I had to call AAA 3 times this past week. I got two flat tires and then a terrible accident Sunday night when a horse got loose from its owner. It was dark outside, I was going about 30 mph and the horse ran down the street and right into my windshield. It was my worst experience ever. If I could give this company a ZERO I would. I would really like to start a petition to insurance company not to use this company. 15 hours later they deliver my truck ransacked for a tow I paid $204 for. Debbie the manager has TERRIBLE service. She was so rude and unapologetic. If I was not so far I would have drove to have a one on one conversation with her. I have items missing from my truck and everything. I will be calling the better business Bureau as well as the police station and file a report. I have never in life experience anything like this before. Please not let me forget about how the driver (franice) called with a low key attitude claiming he was in front of my apartment and he was gonna drop my truck. How when I leave in a HOUSE! !
