Our mouse issue started quite a few years ago when we found droppings in the basement. We also discovered that our Christmas boxes had seeds in them, stored jackets had their pockets/linings chewed, and our kids heard them in the basement walls. My husband would set traps and empty them and we thought we had the problem "under control." When I heard them in our family room wall, that was enough! I called Advanced Wildlife Control for more information, made an appointment and they sent a very knowledgeable and skilled technician to my home within just a few days. He answered my questions and explained what he would be doing. He even let me follow along. He carefully checked the entire foundation of our house and caulked any little openings he found. He also caulked around the wiring or cables that entered our house. He set up boxes w/poison around the outside of the house and then showed me areas in the basement where the mice had been getting in. Then he put some smaller boxes near those areas and said he'd be back in a month to check everything. There was a strong smell in the basement a couple weeks later and I remembered the technician saying that some mice would get "stuck" inside since he had closed up their exits. I assumed it was due to them dying after eating the poison and they confirmed that for me when I called. Who knew that citrus room freshener would take care of the smell? They did tell me to call back if the smell got worse, but it only lasted a few days. My technician has been back every few months to check things out and refill the bait boxes, and I'm extremely happy to report that for the first time in years we have NO mice in our house. I recently discovered a mouse problem in our home and was concerned since we have a dog and an infant and I didn't want to risk them getting sick. I looked at numerous businesses and decided to give Advanced Wildlife a call. I called on a Saturday and the woman I spoke with was so nice. She scheduled someone to come out on Monday. Josh, the technician, arrived on time and I explained the situation. He assessed the entire basement and main floor to look for entrances and where the mice might be living. He then went back to his van and set two traps in the basement, one in the pantry (where we discovered the mice) and two outside. He explained the poison make the mice extremely thirsty which forces them to leave the house to look for water and then they would die within 24-48 hours. The traps are pet and kid friendly so there is no way they can open the traps to access the poison. He said he would come back in a month to assess the activity and we would decide when it would be most advantageous to seal the house. A month later, he came back and told us our mice problem was solved so he removed the traps and sealed any entrances the mice might have used to enter the house. He was extremely professional, nice amd explained everything in detail. I never had a single mouse die in the house and my house never smelled. I spent around $150 for the initial visit, traps, sealing of the house and his visit a month later. They do offer quarterly visits for a fee as well for maintenance. read more

This company was referred to me by my friend Brett F. I was hearing scratching noises in my house and was not sure where it was exactly coming from. I checked the attic and nothing was in the attic, Some days the noise was there then it would go away for a few days. Finally, one day while playing Kubb in my yard and I saw 2 birds fly into the bathroom fan vent on the side of my house. I finished the game of Kubb and my buddy Brett suggested I call Advance Wildlife Control to fix this problem. I called and they sent a guy out that day. The gentleman showed up, his name was PJ. He inspected the outside of my house and checked the vent. He then went into my attic to check the bathroom fan tube that ran out of the house to the outside vent. PJ found that the birds had made a nest about 10 ft into the tube. He cut open the vent tube and found the nest had baby birds in it. It was crazy to see the birds had made a nest that far into vent tube. PJ removed the birds and cleaned the nest out of the pipe. He repaired the tube and he also installed different vents on the outside of my house to prevent this from happening again. It was great service. Not only did he fix the problem but he also came up with a solution to prevent it from happening again. PJ called me back about a week later just to follow up and check if the birds had caused me any other problems. I have not had any issues since he fixed the problem. read more

Working with a family owned business is the way to go. They are top-notch in what they do and their Technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. We've had them over to our house a couple of times. One of the times was for mice control as we saw an increase of activity in our house. They were very thorough in looking over the house and assessing the possible avenues those critters could come in, it's amazing the various ways a mouse can get into a house! I appreciated the detailed explanation of the process and what they were going to do to block the traffic paths of mice coming in and out of the house. The Technicians also provided a realistic situation that some mice still may be in the house and with no escape route so don't be surprised if you find a few. Thankfully only 1 remained which we caught in a trap and immediately disposed of. A year later we haven't seen any signs of mice in the house which is a great comfort to our family. Also, being close to water we were experiencing many silverfish in our home, they were able to help rectify that situation as well which we're very thankful for! We have been using Advanced Wildlife for about 4 years. We live in a wooded lot near water so we have frequent unwelcome visitors trying to make our home their own. We are very plesed with their service. When a raccoon problem got out of hand a few years ago they recommended to stop trapping and completely re-skirt around our deck to fully prevent racoons from getting under it. The process wasn't cheap, but it was the right call as we have not had a problem since then. We continue to use Advance Wildlife on a quarterly basis for mice and carpenter ant control and have been pleased. The company always makes sure we have the same technician show up so we don't have to re-explain the problem & show them around the house each visit. The technician is very familiar with our service needs and doesn't need to read someone else's notes to figure out what to do. Most recently, Todd switched things up (locations & number of bait boxes) when the previous mouse plan was no longer working as well. We have always been happy with scheduling and working with the receptionist. On the rare occasion the technician is running late the receptionist calls to give us a heads' up. Had a skunk problem in a rock wall just outside the house. Called AWC and they sent Eric, a tech, out right away. Eric evaluated the situation and set 2 traps. Within 3 days he had traped and removed 2 skunks. That was the last we have seen of the skunks. I set up a trail camera to make sure and Eric assured me that they would come back out at no charge for 60 days if they returned. It has now been 2 weeks and all is good. Everyone at AWC was easy to work with and Eric was super dedicated telling me he would even be out the 4th of July if we needed him. We had a problem with mice getting into our Germantown home so I went to my computer and found Advanced Wildlife Control. They were competitively priced, on time and seemed to know what they were talking about. Tom devised a plan to seal up my home from any more mice getting in and then trapped the two critters that had made their way in already. They also have a reasonably priced service plan where they come out 4x a year to make sure this doesn't happen again. As we were talking I found out that they spray for bugs as well-even mosquitos! We moved into our new house and realized quickly that we had a major wasp problem. We had visual hives up in the eves of the roof line, hives in exhaust vents and also ground hives in our bushes and under the mulch beds. Advanced Wildlife gave us a quote over the phone and came out within 48 hours. They sprayed, removed hives, and even said if we notice any activity after 3 days, they would come back out and spray again. We noticed 2 new hives that week and they came back for free to re -spray. Our experience with AWC was very good. A red squirrel took up residence in our attic. It had gnawed a hole in an outside facing board and began nesting in the soffit. Called AWC in the morning and a technician was here in afternoon. He clearly explained the procedures used and applicable fees, including repairs. All of which I felt to be very reasonable. The culprit was caught and evicted the next day. The technician left the traps up for 10+ days and checked on them nearly everyday, all part of the original and upfront quoted fee. We've had OUTSTANDING success on a first visit from Advanced Wildlife Control. Eric S was our service technician. He checked the attic to determine what animal might be making the noise at night for two weeks. Based on how the insulin looked, he figured it out. Checked the basement and entire perimeter of our 2018-built home and found areas where the mouse/mice might be entering. Left bait traps outside those areas and repaired the entry points. I was glad to see he was interested as a owner of the company to solve my problem. Turned out the critters were also in my house. I called Advanced Wildlife Control today because I had sound like a chipmunk in my wall inside my condo and the woman on the phone was very very nice and she scheduled a young man named Ryan to come out to the house . He was able to come to my house within about 45 minutes and found the chipmunk. It had already started eating through the wall to get out. He cut a very small little hole and chloroformed the chipmunk and reached in and got him out and put them in a trap to take him away. I cannot say enough about the great service from Ryan. We called Advanced Wildlife and Pest Control because mice had gotten behind our kitchen cabinets. The technician, Sage, located the access point behind our stove, where a pipe was coming in from our crawl space. He blocked that hole with steel wool, and also put bait traps and sticky traps in the crawl space, along with bait traps along our outside foundation.
