Unfortunately all of them were the wrong size. I had to make a decision, try reordering and hope the new dress fits and arrives in time or see if a tailor could let out a couple inches. The new dress size wouldn't have arrived until the week of the wedding and I was PANICKING. Lena reassured me that she had plenty of room to work with in letting out the seams of my dress. She requested 2 weeks to work on it, I came in and it fits but she asked for another week to make a couple tweaks so it had a little more breathing room. Came across Lena's tucked in downtown Waukesha. I came in with three pairs of pants that didn't need too much work.. mostly length and a bit in the waist on one pair. She was professional, nice, prompt, courteous and busy! She seems to be very busy during high school prom season for good reason. Quality work and reasonably priced. She gave me a timeline and it was ready. I have since come back for other tailoring needs. Again, these are the "mom & pops" places you want to give your business to. That all changed when he became 'managed' by his current proprietor. His prices have skyrocketed while the customer service and, most importantly, the quality of alterations have plummeted. He completely botched my bridesmaid dress, my sister's wedding dress and her mother-in-law's dress - to the point where we had to take each piece to an alternate tailor to fix them. Worst yet, they argued that they deserved full payment for the jobs even though the quality was terrible. They also threatened my sister that they wouldn't complete her alterations unless she paid them MORE than they had previously quoted her! She was so patient and friendly and offered suggestions whenever we each seemed unsure. Both mine and my mom's had delicate lace that seemed to be no problem for her to hem and take in at the waist (as well as shoulder's for my mom). She strengthened my bustle and eyelet, and straightened the bust (the top was curling outward) as my dress had been previously worn. She also added a "modesty" piece of fabric on my sister's v-neck bust; my sister was so appreciative to not have to worry about falling out that day. Haha. I felt more beautiful than ever before and am thankful to have found Pam!

She works out of her home, and has her own little bridal "studio" area where she pins you in your dress, and has a nice full length mirror and a sitting area for anyone else to join you.
