Would have loved to give 5 stars but we've had a disappointing experience with Mike. We hired Mike last year to get rid of bats in our walls. He put in temporary exits so the bats could leave first then said he would come back to actually seal up the entrance. Mike never came back and the temporary exits fell out over the winter so we have the same bat problem not even a year later. We have called and texting multiple times with either no response or a promise to come out "the next day" which he still hasn't over a week later. This clown comes in, puts less than 1tube of caulking in small gaps, puts up 20 dollars worth of chicken wire over gable vents that already have screening in them and charges $850.00 No guaranties, no results. Same experience as others on here. Had bats in my attic. Mike came out, added the one way doors. I paid the 2k that was billed and then called after the stated waiting time to have the doors removed and the areas sealed, per contract. No return calls. Totally ghosted. It has been a few years - doors still on the roof. I'm going to have to have a roofer come and seal them up, which is even more $$. He added the doors and the bats did leave ( hence the two stars). I had Mike out to my place about bats in the attic. I pointed out two spots where bats could get in that I covered, and two spots I couldn't reach and asked him to look at the rest of the house to see if there were any other spots where bats could get in. He came out and covered the two spots I couldn't reach, charged me $395, and apparently didn't look at any other locations around my home. Six months later I'm getting bats in my attic again, and no return calls or emails from Mike. I have emailed and left messages on and off for months, with either no response, or a promise that he'll have someone come look but nothing happens. My dog found out for us that we had 'skunk' issues, you can guess how she figured that out. I called Advanced Wildlife Control, Mike called me back immediately and the very NEXT day he came out and set a trap. That night, a skunk was trapped. He came out early that morning to pick him up so he wouldn't have to be in the trap long and set another. The next day, the same thing. Caught one and came out to pick her up. He again, setup the trap but no more were caught. Mike was quick, humane and I think well priced. He did notice that I was a Veteran from my license place and told me that he wouldn't charge me for the tramp set up fee. How awesome was that. Had AWC come out 2 years ago to deal with a bat problem and he put up the one way doors and netting to prevent them from returning. All was well until last fall when we found some in the attic. According to AWC contract the have a 10 year guarantee on his work. We have contacted AWC numerous times , by phone, text and email and have gotten no response in over 3 months. We had Advanced Wildlife Control out 2 years ago to take care of a Bat issue. We received a 10 year warranty with the work. The bats returned 1 year ago and we have been trying to get in touch with Mike since then to resolve the issue. He has returned only one call and has not returned to look at the situation as he promised. We still have bats and still have not received a return call. Mike, call us back. You have our number. For others considering Mike's work, I would be wary of any warranty promise Mike makes. As you can see, it may take you a while to get him to honor the warranty. talked to receptionist this morning on october 20, 2016; we used to get an inspection done every year; they did not send us reminders so missed 2 years; she said for every year you do not call them to inspect, they charge you as if they had been here and actually done the work; so if they would charge you $125 for an inspection, and you miss 2 years, our bill will now be 125 plus 250 = 375. I assume if you miss 10 years your bill would be about $1300? for an hour of work? Was disappointed when I was charged a $95 inspection/quote fee and no quote was given for service to solve our best issues. Tech said in four years of doing inspections, he has never failed to quote a customer. I respect his honesty not to quote a job he can't handle but not sure I should have paid nearly $100 to be told we won't be able to help you.
