When I tried to cancel they wouldn't just cancel and in order to book the consultation I had to give them a bank/credit card . Unfortunately I booked a consultation but then shortly after I spoke to them, I received a phone call from a local long running company in my town who came out right away and didn't charge me anything. I'm definitely worried now because they have my card number. They never officially canceled my appointment. They made the entire experience stressful and complicated. After a few unanswered calls to other companies, I reached these folks, and they were totally no-nonsense. They were available right away, and came to treat the house while we were at work. Their spray worked like a charm on the first try, killing the hornets around the house and repelling others from landing. When the warm weather arrived, so did the carpenter ants, and I called these guys again. I'm not sure if they're a family business, but sure it seems like it - the lady who answers the phone is sweet and helpful, and the exterminator was the same guy who had treated the hornet problem. They were available to treat the ant infestation right away, and even had a seasonal "service agreement" that covers pest control for the whole year for a set price (which, in both of my dealings with them, has come in exactly at, or under, what I was quoted on the phone). These seem like good people doing an honest business; I'd totally recommend them to anyone who wants to place one call and not have to worry about it again.

They came in and did a full clean out and exclusion of my attic which was full of 35 year old, blow-in fiberglass insulation that had become home to many many mice over the years. It had gotten so nasty and energy inefficient that I decided it was time to just replace it all. While insulation companies wanted to just put new insulation over top of it (and leave the mice and gross fiberglass!) Fox's team came in and did a complete clean out, exclusion, sanitize, good as new. It was such a huge job that they probably should have been able to have a couple of days, but in the middle of freezing winter, I couldn't go multiple days without insulation and so they stayed until the whole thing was completely finished and ready for when the installers arrived the next morning. I'm used to nationwide businesses having faceless employees you see once and never again, but I have to say that working with Fox this past year has been just like working with a local company.
