I returned home Sunday from almost 5 weeks away to find my home freezing. The temperature inside was 45 degrees. My regular company does not have an emergency service. I called a neighbor and was given Advantage Air as a possible vendor. I spoke with the answering service and within minutes spoke with Bobby, a technician. He said he would be here in one hour; he was here in 40 minutes. He found the problem immediately (a dirty flame sensor), cleaned the sensor and then waited to make sure the temperature was going up. He called me an hour later to confirm the temperature was still going up! Now I call that service! Kudos to Bobby and Advantage Air. Advantage Air has serviced my heater and air conditioning for the past 20 years. They do a phenomenal job and are always courteous.

Our heat died a smidge ago this December. It was later in the day when I noticed the house was just getting colder and colder, so after doing some research on what company people recommend I called-up Advantage Air. They got someone out here on the day I called even though it was already 4:30-ish and after some exploring of the unit the problem was discovered. The next day the lady who helped me previously came back out, made the correction that was needed (it was a gas valve) and when things still seemed to not be working, called the boss of the company. At this point, the boss himself actually came out, looked some things over, and working with the lady who had initially been there got my heat working again! Thank goodness it started back up too because it was getting quite cold! As you can see from that above experience, I received fast help from Advantage Air. Anyone I talked to on the phone was courteous, the person who came out was nice. I was impressed that the boss cares so much about the jobs he chose to come out himself when needed as opposed to just relaxing in an office somewhere--and considering my unit was outside we all were feeling chilly while examining it! Any questions I had were answered and I learned a lot about the unit at my house, plus the cost was what I would have expected (e.g. it wasn't cheap, but these sorts of things never are) with superb customer service I did not expect, but was overjoyed to get. Overall, I had a great experience with Advantage Air and would recommend them to you for your heating or air conditioning needs. I know I will be calling them in the future should something else go wrong, or when it is time to replace our unit (it is getting up there in years). To put it simply, I have no complaints, just compliments, so give them a call! read more

My air conditioning system stopped cooling my house in the middle of the summer after I spent a weekend out. I need somebody to fix it in a hurry. I found Air Advantage though Google reviews. Their reviews looked good for me. I was afraid to call somebody I had never heard before. But they were the only ones that answered the phone at 6:30 pm, two days ago. Advantage Air came to my house that same evening . A technician (Dana) arrived around 8 pm at my house. That was amazing for me! I was not expecting to have such a good response time from any company. Dana looked everything and she explained me very well a lot of stuff about air conditioning systems. I had zero knowledge about cooling system before. My cooling gas was almost gone. Very low pressure. Dana replaced my cooling gas, which one is a old type of gas (R22?), because my unit is 16 years old. So it is a more expensive gas. It cost me around $380 with parts and labor. My system has never been repaired before since I moved into this house (since 2008). But I expected to have some sort of problems as it is getting old. So changing the cooling gas... was expected. There is a leak somewhere but Dana advised me I should wait before investing more time and money to find out the leak. It may be a very small leak and the gas load may last years. But if the leak is relevant we may have it lasting a summer or a year. Then we would put more money & time finding the leak. While putting everything else back in place Dana seems to find a potential source for the leak. She could not finish the work as it was getting late. So the next morning another technician came (Don) and finished what should be finished and did an additional inspect. He did find other potential sources of leak but he was also honest to tell us to wait to see how much the gas last. The leak can be too small to be worth the money and time fixing the system. He didn't charged me anything else. So I appreciate them coming so fast (I did paid extra money for off-hours attendance), for being very honest about the issues and for doing only the required work. Their pricing system was very transparent (no hiding fees, no extra fees) and they explained everything. So far I love their work! Thanks Advantage Air folks!!!! read more

Our heat had gone out and we had a company come out that quoted us over $1000 to fix the control panel. Advantage Air was recommended to me and I called and spoke with Troy and he was able to order the part for our furnace and have someone out at 8am the very next morning and it was much cheaper than the first quote. Fast forward a week later and the heat was out when we got home from work. Troy was kind enough to walk me through some things via phone and sent Dana out the next morning to get our heat back on. Our igniter was bad and that was replaced. We have heat again and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Advantage Air. I will most certainly recommend this company to all my friends and family. read more

The technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. However, she was 20 minutes late. Fortunately, I received a call prior apprising me of this. She also reeked of cigarette smoke. In my previous review I posted that I am very sensitive to any kind of smoke. Two out of the last three times I have used this company, I have had to deal with technicians reeking of smoke. Again, I don't care if people want to smoke; just don't bring it into my house. This issue seems pretty easy to fix. Again, I have no problem with the work done. In the future, I'd suggest investing in nicotine gum or Chantix. read more

Last April a tornado hit our neighborhood and I lost half my roof and it blew out 3 windows. I wasn't aware of the damage to my air conditioner until I tried to turn it on in July when I was able to take occupancy. I called Advantage Air and they sent a service man out the next day and he replaced the old air conditioner with a new one. I was extremely happy with their quick response and the service tech was helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this company. You can't find one any better. read more

This company rocks. My ac broke down on a very hot and humid Saturday. On Monday I contacted another company that I used previously to service my heating and cooling needs and was told that the earliest I could get service was Wednesday afternoon. I even told this other company that I was not interested in a repair, but rather a complete HVAC replacement. This did not motivate them in the least. I did a quick internet search and found Advantage Air. When I called, Brandy answered the phone and was so pleasant and helpful. She got me a same day appointment. Michelle came out to my home that same Monday morning and provided me estimates for several options. I chose to go with the Bryant Evolution system. Advantage Air showed up Tuesday morning to perform the install. Thanks to the installers Tony (owner), Dana, and Donovan I was cool in time for bed Tuesday night. The next day, Wednesday, was over 97 degrees outside, but the house was a nice 74 degrees all day. What a great HVAC system. My old system from day one (21 years old) would always start losing the heat war when the outside temperature got above 85 degrees. The company and staff are the best.
