i have a hardtop convertible. Last summer while trying to put the top down it's stuck halfway open. I called around and found that advanced glass could fix it. I took it in and they said it would be a couple days and I had to give them $300 upfront, which I did. the first night there it was going to rain so I called and reminded them that my top was not closed. They said they would bring it in. They did not. Two days later they said I could pick up the car that they got the top closed . When I came to pick it up, I asked what the problem was, and was told he wasn't sure, but would find out what part I would need and call me. When I got in my car, my seats were stained with oil and smelled like mildew from not being closed . I called them four times for my results on what I would need and was told they would call me back and never did. Here it is a year later and still no call. Not good business! Brought my jeep in for windshield repair today. Had a small chip in the windshield. Ronnie helped me the most. Everyone here was great, but by far he went above and beyond. I wound up being too much of a perfectionist, and had a new windshield installed. I highly recommended the work he does. He has earned my business for as long as he is working! read more

Very arrogant boss .attitude big time .charged me 45 bucks to look at my glass on door .then on top of it wouldn't put 5 screws back to close the parts up cause he said I already opened it .which I guess is fine .. but what really got me is that after spending 45 minutes their . When I asked to borrow a screwdriver to put panel on myself . He asked his secretary for my license cause I guess he thought I would rip it off!! even after I got ripped of with them only lookin for 3-5 minutes at my glass on my door . Advantage repaired the windshield seal on my RV. The seal had pulled away from the frame. They pulled the windshield and re-sealed it.

Awful experience with this place. They cancelled my original appointment because it was snowing...but didn't call to tell me or reschedule. When they finally did the job, it was unfinished. They gouged the side of my trim AND got glue all over one of my fenders. They denied causing the damage of course. Once the job was "finished" they left glue and parts in my car. Had to take it to another business to actually finish it. I will never use this place again - and you shouldn't either. read more

My buddy took his car here to get a windshield replaced. Made the appointment on Monday to have it changed out on Wednesday. He dropped the car off Wed afternoon, paid for the work and made arrangements to have the car left outside so he could pick it up after we got off work at about 1am. They told him they'd contact him when the job was done just to confirm. Well, they never called or texted him, which concerned him. Well, we got off work at 1am and I gave him a ride to pick up his car. Guess what? It wasn't there. He called the number and got no answer. So I had to give him a ride 28 miles to his house. What if he had taken an Uber? He'd be stranded without a ride home in the middle of the night. That's the worst customer service I've seen or heard of in years. He was lucky I was willing to take him all the way home. And then he had to bum another ride into town today to pick up his car. That's just ridiculous. I don't know how it's going to play out but if they don't give him a sincere apology and some cash back for the inconvenience, they're one of the worst companies around. I know I'll never use them. They are NOT the only glass company in town. read more

I'm not big into reviews but I just had to. These guys came and picked up my car from work, took it to their shop, replaced my windshield and tinted my Windows. That's not the reason for this review, they did an outstanding job, a little on the pricey side for window tint but the result was great and the service was worth the extra money. read more

Ive had a couple vehicles tinted here. Reasonable and fantastic work. Best part about their work and how they stand behind it, is the fact that I've never had to contact them to repair anything they've done. They use good products and they do it right the first time. Highly recommend! read more

I had two previous good experiences but I had made a appointment on 7/17/2020 to have our Ford Taurus windows tinted on Thursday the 7/23/2020. She told me as long as they had it by 8:30 that morning or better yet the night before, it should be ready by noon on Thursday. For starters my wife and I have been trying to get a day she had a day off from work. The day before our appointment we had the opportunity to deliver it while they were still open. We had to waste our drive with two vehicles there. I went in to give them the keys and was asked why I was there and my name while they had three women working the counter and of course non of them had a clue of my appointment. I got passed from one to the other not informed by any of them at this point as to who was doing what. Then asked by the first one if we could bring it in Friday which I replied that she works on Friday while the woman in the back corner was still making phone calls to who knows but eventually came to the counter telling me that I can bring it back on the Thursday of our appointment day and told me that if they were available by 10:00 then they might be able to get it done. At no time did any of them apologize for there incompetence of keeping track of appointments out of at least three counter workers. Needless to say I told them I will take it somewhere else still no apologies from any. I will no longer recommend them to anyone anymore and will not be a return customer again. We run a trucking company. We have had a lot of windshields replaced due to rock chips and cracks. Out of all the windshields we have ever had replaced this is the first time that I've had issues with the technician breaking the glass and the blame falling on us. Yes I purchased the glass directly through JX Peterbilt (which is the same glass JX would use) and it wasn't cracked or damaged prior to installation. Their technician gave my mechanic, who happened to be at the shop during the installation, a tool to assist with installing the glass (the owner assured me that his technician wouldn't have needed help or asked for it because it was a half windshield but somehow my mechanic was given a specific tool for assistance). Am I taking my mechanic's word over theirs? You're absolutely right I am because I know my guy. He's a very trustworthy and honest man. He's never bent the truth or not owned up to any wrong doing. He said the technician applied too much pressure, the glass shattered, the technician said, "Ahhh shit", and then the technician said he would get the truck information so they could get another piece of glass. Sounds great right? That wasn't the case when I called to get this all squared away. Misty, the manager, wanted me to call JX and tell them that their glass broke upon installation due to a stress fracture to see if they would warranty it. When I told my mechanic what their request was, the look on his face told me all I needed to know. He knew it was wrong. I called back and explained exactly what happened and Misty wasn't having it. I have now spent roughly 2 weeks trying to get this resolved. I finally called and requested to talk to the owner. The first time he didn't call me back (go figure). The second time Misty answered and transferred me directly to the owner (praise God). This wasn't exactly any better than talking to Misty. Basically said my mechanic was wrong/lying and essentially called me an idiot because I don't install glass for a living so I didn't know anything that I was talking about. I'm a pretty savvy person when it comes to about anything I encounter on a daily basis and it doesn't take a scientist to see that this particular piece of glass didn't break because it was defective. I did inform them that I'd give them plenty of free publicity, because you know one unhappy customer does more communicating than one happy customer, and then they decided they wanted to make it right. At this point absolutely not. I'll bite the bullet and eat the glass and lost time and pay someone else to come do it. Customer service is the backbone to any business and these guys aren't up to par. I'll never go back. There's zero "Advantage" here. read more

I had a windshield replaced here a few months ago and the service wasn't too bad. I was going to go back to have my windows tinted...until today. Today I was behind one of their vans at an intersection. The driver had ample opportunity to make his turn but wasn't going, so I peeped my horn. It was just that, a peep, not an obnoxious blast or anything like that. The driver responded by flipping me off! I called the number prominently displayed on the back of the van and spoke to a manager. The manager made no attempt to apologize for his drivers actions and said I shouldn't have been honking. Its not like I was looking to get the guy fired, I just wanted them to tell the guy that flipping people off is not a good way to represent your business. Since this is apparently the way the manager wants his employees to treat potential customers, I will NOT be going back!!! read more

Used this place several times. Very satisfied until last time. Had back window replaced on pickup. Picked up my vehicle after they closed. I was very upse to find black tar-like substance on back leather seat as well as all over the rear head rests. The tar was also on roof by window. Called next day and manager said they do not use tar and it must have already been on the seat and paint. We went back and forth and I got nowhere. I was more upset they denied doing it and basically the manager calling me a liar. I will never use this place again. It's the insurance companies keeping this place in business. Why is there no option for negative stars? My vehicle was send to Advantage through an insurance claim. Tavis is the most hostile, arrogant person I have ever met. He didn't touch my vehicle for over a month because he "didn't have any information" given to him. He bullied me every single time we spoke and made an argument out of the simplest of questions like, "have you found any parts?" He had my vehicle for months. First refusing to fix it, then saying he would fix it (when he found out the insurance company was giving him a '"blank check"), then he "couldn't get parts", then he could, then he couldn't, then he "did". They "replaced" the seal (they didn't) and forced me to have them disconnect the motors. They made the issues worse than when I took it in. I rejected their "repairs" and took it up with the insurance company for them to tell me they've already paid too much for repairs and it was all on me. I now find out (since I'm tired of shop vacuuming the standing water inside every time it rains) that they actually broke the mechanics and that's why they pushed to just disconnect the motors. Worthless company and a fraud. Should be shut down and pursued by insurance companies/victims. read more

This is one of those businesses that you hope you don't ever have to use because that implies that there has been some kind of accident or something. However, if I ever do need glass replacement again, this is the place I will definitely go! I wish I could choose 0 stars.... Had a 2 inch leak in the back window of my F150 so I brought it in. They charged a reasonable price and I got the truck back next day. All is great, right? WRONG. The following day it rained and we learned that there was now a leak along the ENTIRE top of rear window. Called and they promised to fix it again. I was given a managers number and told to drop it off on a Sunday night and someone would meet me there to pull it in and they would fix it first thing Monday morning. However, when we showed up at the agreed time, I was told to "throw the keys in the glove box" and leave the truck in their parking lot UNLOCKED OVERNIGHT! When I said I did not feel comfortable doing that I received a series of rude texts saying they "do it all the time." So the next day, dropping it off during normal business hours, I brought my truck back in for the third time. Picked it up that evening and, big surprise, it still leaks. When we picked it up, there were MUDDY FOOTPRINTS on my leather seats and on both doors. No attempt to even clean up had been made. There is major staining on the headliner due to the most recent leaking. This damage has been appraised at over $1000. So I originally brought my truck in with $100 worth of damage. Three weeks later, it still is not fixed and we have over $1000 worth of damage. read more
