I used to be a dental assistant and had never seen a dentist refer out for crowns, so I decided to leave that practice. After some research, I found Dr Ledesma and am so glad that I did. I was on a very tight schedule because I was moving about 4 months later and was in braces that would not be removed till a month before my move date. Dr Ledesma and his staff worked to squeeze me into their busy schedule and he did an amazing job on my crowns! I had put off getting these crowns done for many many years because I was worried about them not turning out good. It is very difficult to get a good match when doing front crowns. That's why it is usually best to do the front 6 together, but that was not an option. Even with the obstacles that I threw at him, he was able to exceed my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr Ledesma to anyone in need of dental work!

When we came to BrightNow the doctor there immediately saw the problem, and a hygienist went to work on a special cleaning to clear out the bacteria under her gums, and was told to come back for a regular cleaning. She came back the following week and had her regular cleaning without incident. A week later my daughter arrived at her orthodontic's office, and the doctor looked inside her mouth and was blown away by the improvement of her gums. He wanted to know who had done the work so he could recommend people. He already knew of BrightNow from other clients. BrightNow saved my daughter a tremendous amount of unnecessary pain, and thousands of dollars. The team there (and it is a team) is great, caring, compassionate and know what they are doing. They are keepers. We wont go anywhere else. Regarding the comment about lousy X-RAYS, we first went to a place called Grinz 4 Kids in Medford. They looked inside my daughter's mouth and XRAY'ed her with the panoramic XRAY machine you seem to think is some sort of magical implement. For this they charged us $385 AFTER they dinged our Dental Insurance. The XRAYS were unusable. They showed overlapping teeth, and some were even missing. So maybe it is not the technology that matters, but how the techs are using the technology? Just saying.

OK a simple mistake by typing in the wrong number of the tooth. I told Bright Now of the problem and they said they would fix it. Six months later at my cleaning I asked about the correction and was told it was not done yet. One week later the tooth started hurting so I contacted Bright Now and the correction was not done yet and they couldn't see me for five more days. I made an appointment at 10 AM and when I showed up the door was locked and no one was there. I tried to call several times that day and got no answer. This type of ineptitude shown by a Medical Institution is beyond reason and I will be reporting them to the ADA.

Dr. Barratt is straight forward, and works efficiently. Scheduling is great, and I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes in the waiting room. The cleanliness is immaculate. Marika is a great hygienist. Premier also accepts my insurance. Dr. Barratt is honest, and unlike many other dentists, he doesn't push services or unnecessary procedures. Highly recommended.

Receptionists, doctors and dental assistants are ALL extremely friendly, informative and helpful. When I overslept for my appointment like a buffoon, and woke up in the hotel just as I was supposed to be arriving, I called them up & they managed to squeeze me in later that same day, even though their schedule was pretty booked by the looks of it (quite a few patients were there when I arrived), knowing that I didn't live in the area. As an aside, I didn't have insurance, but I looked around for options and came across the Aetna Dental Discount card, which is a very reasonable rate and deceptively simple discount plan. One wonders who it can be so turn-key: you go look up the plan, fill out your info, pay under ~$200 and somehow, semimiraculously, all of your dental expenses, INCLUDING oral surgery, prescription medication and x-rays are all discounted by 50+%! This is a great plan for freelancers, and people who are self-employed, btw. So I called these guys, knowing that their standard rates are good, to verify that this plan was all it claimed to be, and they reassured me that it was and that I could get major dental work haunting me for the past 5 insurance-less years in a single day, with no separate consultation appointment and accordingly no additional 'consultation fee' - the likes of which every place I contacted in San Francisco (quite a few) took for granted. The surgery was fast and simple, in the end - definitely not warranting the numerous appointments that other dentists attempted to book me for, greedily wringing out every penny even after I explained my financial situation and explained that I could provide very detailed dental records. Dr. Logan and his assistant conferred with me briefly as to the level of anesthesia I wished to receive during the procedure, and then sent me off with a very informative packet of information, very reasonable prescription for pain pills, and succinct, practical advice on preventing complication. As I was paying, the receptionist said, "Let me see, you may qualify for an additional discount--" on top of the one afforded me by the Aetna Dental Discount card. And indeed, she was right - there was some sort of out of town discount on top of that, and in the end, my entire procedure was under $250 (+the ~$100 for the yearlong Aetna plan)!! Places in San Francisco were quoting $500+ for the same exact procedure, even with the plan! On the following morning, they called me up to check in - a very personable call which came across as friendly and genuine. As long as I live in a 400 mile radius of these guys, Dr. Logan will be my go-to dentist!

Every single staff member I've interacted with has been friendly and accommodating. I'm a wheelchair user and find the office far more navigable than most medical settings. Plus they have SUPER sturdy dental chairs with arms that go down on BOTH sides, which is a rare find -- and absolutely great for higher-weight patients. I can't think of a single way they could improve - they even offer a membership that saves some $$.
