I had a major dental procedure scheduled today after waiting 6 months. The procedure required a…read moreprescription to be picked up ahead of time and for consent forms to be signed. I was never contacted about these requirements by the staff. Thankfully, I called ahead of time to see what I need to do to be prepared and had to drive out to get the prescription to get it filled. 30 minutes before my appointment, I receive a call saying I can't have my procedure today because they didn't have me sign the consent forms ahead of time. This was unacceptable as I had this appointment setup for 6 months and took time off from work. My son drove me down there and the dentist agreed to reschedule to Friday to get the forms filled out ahead of time. The staff person that failed to inform me of the forms and the prescription needed, made a rude remark about me to her coworker saying she knew I was going to be a "problem". My son overheard this and got very angry and yelled at her. He then left the office and apologized for getting mad. I spoke directly to the staff member and told her that he was upset because she was talking bad about me, the patient, when it wasn't my issue that she had not properly prepared me for the appointment. She became enraged and told me that I am not allowed to be there and I'm dismissed from the office for "doing this to them", when in fact, I was the victim of her extreme incompetence and her unprofessional comments about me. After all of this, I have to start all over to get my teeth fixed because of one bad employee that fails to do her job and then blames the patients when they are upset that their lives have been turned upside down because of her lack of due diligence and preparation for patient care. I do not recommend this dentist's office unless the staff are replaced with professional, competent people that don't threaten to call the police on customers for sharing their feelings about their experience. This staff manager has cost the dentist a lot of money and business, and she doesn't deserve that because she is a good woman that gave us gas money in good faith and apologized for the situation. I hope she realizes that one bad seed can ruin it for the rest.

Every single staff member I've interacted with has been friendly and accommodating. I'm a wheelchair user and find the office far more navigable than most medical settings. Plus they have SUPER sturdy dental chairs with arms that go down on BOTH sides, which is a rare find -- and absolutely great for higher-weight patients. I can't think of a single way they could improve - they even offer a membership that saves some $$.

Then, Dr. Johnston swooped in like a teeth fixing superhero and saved the day. I am sooo happy with the results. He somehow added onto the partial teeth that I had left and made them look like nothing ever happened. Then, we did the clear braces thingy and shifted the teeth to their proper place. Plus, Dr. Johnston is just a cool person to be around and made me feel comfortable (and I hate going to the dentist). I used to be a dental assistant and had never seen a dentist refer out for crowns, so I decided to leave that practice. After some research, I found Dr Ledesma and am so glad that I did. I was on a very tight schedule because I was moving about 4 months later and was in braces that would not be removed till a month before my move date. Dr Ledesma and his staff worked to squeeze me into their busy schedule and he did an amazing job on my crowns! I had put off getting these crowns done for many many years because I was worried about them not turning out good. It is very difficult to get a good match when doing front crowns. That's why it is usually best to do the front 6 together, but that was not an option. Even with the obstacles that I threw at him, he was able to exceed my expectations. Dr. Burch has the gentlest touch when giving shots in the roof of the mouth or the joint of my mouth. I have had both and he's been great. Not being blessed with great teeth, I recall the early days of my visits to the dentist's office. The dreaded dental drills that were dangling by an array of cantilever arms and pulleys that appeared they could double as an aerobatic array for "The Flying Wallendas." A dental drilling assembly that in all probably was being driven by the same mechanical system as the foot-pedal treadle sewing machine in use by my grandmother at the time. Local anesthesia, that the dentist assured you would certainly numb the tooth, was soon followed by the dreaded words "this won't hurt." Dread and horrific piercing pain were my constant companions when visiting the dentist's office. Fortunately, those days are over. The modern drills and anesthetics of today WORK, and a visit to the dentist's office is without the trials and tribulations of the past. Those modern tools in the hands of a seasoned professional like Doctor "Jake" make a visit to his office a pleasant experience. I was referred by my dentist in Washington to whom I was referred by my daughter. Since my arrival in the valley almost 12 years ago Jake has been our family dentist, and when I find a great dentist, I will refer those I know and care about. Jake and his staff have performed just about every dental procedure possible on my teeth, heck I could be the poster boy featured in a dental publication for aftermarket parts and procedures. All kidding aside, Jake and the staff are true professionals, positive, understanding, and they listen. They appreciate that every patient is an individual with differing cares, concerns and a dental history and treat them accordingly. Professional, proficient, personable, and patient oriented.
