For several years I was plagued with recurring neck and shoulder pain; regular trips to the chiropractor provided short-term relief, but after a few days it always returned. Figuring I had nothing to lose by trying a different approach, I made an appointment with Joan. After an evaluation she gave me a deep-tissue massage, which was a painful process at first but immediately brought some relief from the cramping I had been experiencing. Over the next couple of months I returned for four more treatments. By the end of that sequence, the pain was essentially gone. I had trouble finding the location, but it is located in the Heritage Hunt complex. Enter from the main entrance and dial #155 on the pad or just call her and she'll let you in. Because I had trouble finding the room, I was about 10 minutes late but Angela was very understanding. We talked for about 10 minutes and she explained to me about her practice (emphasizing that she is a therapist and likes to talk to her clients). I explained to her my problem areas and we decided to work on those rather than my full body as I was late and she wanted to give proper attention to the places that were needed. I enjoyed my massage and she worked out my knots and helped de-tense my neck, but my favorite part was talking to her. I usually don't talk during my massages but Angela is very conversational and I enjoyed listening to her talk about her family, kids, etc. It didn't disrupt the massage and I was still able to relax. Angela still gave me a full hour massage despite me being late which I appreciated a lot. Angela is a very genuine person who cares about her clients and she is a very good massage therapist!
