When I was a child, I would tell the dentist I had to use the restroom and then lock myself in the bathroom. My mother would always bring one of my siblings to my appointments, just in case they needed to jump into the chair and take my place. I put off getting the root canal done until I could no longer take the pain. Upon entering Dr. Pichardo's office I was impressed. The professional décor was nice. The staff that greeted me were equally as nice. The office atmosphere was both calm and relaxing. When it was my time to see Dr. Pichardo, I explained my anxiety about getting the procedure done. They reassured me that everything would be fine - and they were right! The procedure did not take long at all, and best of all I felt no pain. No pain during or even after the work was done. I was surprised how easy it was. I can't believe I waited so long to get it done. All the pain I could have avoided if I just made the appointment sooner. Dr Pichardo's office called me the next day to see how I was doing. I told them great! I had not experienced any pain, even when the numbness wore off. I was able to go right back to work after the procedure. It was no different than any normal, routine dental appointment. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Pichardo to anyone who needs to get a root canal done. I went to Gainesville Smiles to see if they could polish a rough spot on one tooth. After a ton of…read morex-rays and images to map my mouth they claimed I had to have 6 crowns removed or each tooth would require a root cannel very soon. It was very important to remove the crowns as soon as possible Jong said. Eight months later and $8700 I have tooth pain where my new crowns are several unpleasant times every day. Jong Hung assured me that I would not get trapped food between my teeth. I can' eat anything without food packing between teeth. I now carry floss and use it during and after a meal. My last appointment Jong Hung told me I have to get Invisalign Teeth Aligners for thousands of dollars. Plastic trays that you have wear. If I didn't buy them my teeth would move toward each other and break. I never returned! Please make sure to get a second opinion. Removing crowns and Invisalign are very profitable for the dentist. The dental technician told me it was ok to swallow the fluoride treatment. What the hell!!
