He went above and beyond what I would have hoped for in terms of educating me about what services I would likely need, and how to make sure that some other home inspector wouldn't try to take advantage of me. He made some excellent recommendations, and at the end of it all, he even went so far as to say that if I ran into any (proverbial) walls, that I should call him back and he can see what other contacts he has that could help me. This guy didn't even have me as a customer, and yet he was invested in making sure that I got the help I needed. If you're in the Tulsa market and you need home inspections, Dwain at LEDJ Home Inspections is absolutely the place to start. Also, his prices are very reasonable. Another point for him there as well, because he's upfront about his pricing on his website, unlike other home inspectors who make you dig for that information.

We had someone come to look at it, thinking it was just turned off somehow, and he noted in 10 seconds that the the tank was busted and would have to be replaced. From the rust buildup on the tank he agreed that it had to have been broken for quite a while. We reached out to Parker expecting them to agree that someone had failed their job and replace the tank. As expected, they used the month period to insist that "it was working when they inspected it but it busted later". Sure. CYA much? Know that, if you use these guys, they aren't really checking everything and, if you walk into a mess, it's on you to fix it.

I called into Messick roofing and the owner Grant had picked up the phone. I had informed him that I was looking for roofing estimates and he was able to set an appointment with me to come out the next day. Grant arrived on time and did a full inspection on the roof. He was able to provide me with an estimate right away and quoted me at $7900 for 2,100 sq ft of roof and that also included the installation of five attic vents. After getting four different estimates, Messick Roofing was by far the most reasonably priced. I had the pleasure of working with Paul Wallace and his crew. Very personable guy and extremely helpful of aiding me in picking out a new roof color. They arrived on time. They finished on time. They cleaned up all their mess. The craftsmanship was very well done. They took very good care of my property during the roofing process. The attention, communication, and care during the job was absolutely what you want from a roofing company. I cannot speak highly enough about this business. Paul was also very kind enough to bring over a pound of dear meat that he caught from his last hunting trip which was beyond over the top. We had a phenomenal experience with this company and will definitely be using them again in the future.

I liked that he explained what sorts of issues were really important to have a licensed contractor address immediately, and those other issues that were just making us aware of the situation or might need to be addressed in the future. Not only did they do the job as well as I could have hoped, but they weren't satisfied with that level. Because of my non-traditional door frame, the door knobs on the outside of front door and the inside of storm door barely touched when closed. I was just happy to have new doors and wasn't worried about the potential of rubbing the finish off the handles. However, HTH didn't let it go. About a week after finishing the work, they stopped by my house at lunch to let me know they'd been thinking about it and had an idea to adjust the doors so they wouldn't touch. And it worked. I was perfectly happy, and somehow things got better. Since then, I've had them install custom cabinets in my bathroom and do a full kitchen remodel when my mom moved into her new home. They also laid down new flooring for her along with fixing several off-kilter interior doors and cabinets in the house. They do great work on big and small jobs. Absolutely cannot recommend HTH enough. They're someone you can trust that will offer you a fair, transparent price for work that will be superior quality to what you would find almost anywhere else.
